With the motherboard of the Gateway lt2032u, the onboard graphics card shares memory, so having the extra gb helps with videos too. Easy to install and worked at max motherboard speed (533MHz) without any issue. Cons: None with this chip, thus far. Other Thoughts: More an issue with the laptop than this memory. It is a bit of a pet peeve of mine that Gateway (or their motherboard contractor) built into the bios a block to post when 4gb of memory is detected. The 32-bit architecture and N270 Atom are capable of running 4gb of ram. Furthermore, I upgraded the OS to windows 7 pro 32-bit meaning I had the licence privileges to run 4gb of ram.
