4 out of 5 eggsVoltage

Pros: Good timmings and price.

Cons: Careful of its 2.1 rated voltage. Most motherboards with memory over 1.8-1.9v get unstable. My DFI MFII motherboard suffered from blue screens of deaths, cold lock ups, and failed POSTs. MAKE SURE YOUR MOTHERBOARD SUPPORTS 2.1 Volts!

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Thank you for your review. Most motherboards have a default memory voltage setting of 1.8V. Because this is a high performance gaming memory module, it can be overclocked and require a higher voltage. Most motherboards are able to handle 2.1V; the BSOD and unable to post errors may be incorrect BIOS settings since an increase in voltage does not create errors but instead it increases stability at the cost of a slight increase in heat emission. If you have any further questions or issues, feel free to contact us.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Quick and Low Power

Pros: I'm running these sticks at 1000Mhz @5,5,5, 15 with 1.9v for pretty cool running. Runs Memtest or Orthos all day with no problems. I have it running for a month now - not bad for fourty five delivered.

Cons: none as yet.

Other Thoughts: Used eggsaver shipping, funny part was DHL got it to me in two days, then USPS had it 7 miles away for 4 days before delivery.

5.9 Vista rating

Cons: When 4 are in at a time I doubt the heat spreaders are doing very much :/

5 out of 5 eggsgreat memory

Pros: Heatsink if you plan to overclock. Can overclock to 1066 Mhz @ 5-5-5-12. I've had problems with Crucial Ballistix in the past and switched over to G.SKILL, never looked back.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Currently running at 4-4-4-12 800Mhz 2.1V on 1600 Mhz FSB for a 1:1 FSB:DRAM ratio and it flies! (ASUS P5Q Pro, Intel Q9300).

Be careful installing the ram. Push down on the ram, not the heatsink.

5 out of 5 eggsgood time

Pros: Going from two gig to four is a sweet jump, I got this mostly for the timings and the fact there made for gaming.

I love them I definitely consider people getting them.

The heat spreaders are a nice touch, a little big but I have plenty of room.

If your still a little behind the times on hardware and have ddr2 800 socket then definitely get these.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I cant figure out why no one knows anything about clock interrupt, i had to order a new cpu from newegg because mine keeps crashing, I searched the whole internet on clock interrupts and no one really knew.

...sigh*

5 out of 5 eggsFast!

Pros: Along with my Core 2 Duo this Ram makes multitasking a reality as you can defrag, run itunes and zune software and surf the web with no slow downs. Runs very cool and was cheap.

Cons: Large heat dispensers but shouldn't be to much in your way.

Other Thoughts: Looks really cool; Vista 32bit only sees 3.58 GB of Ram.

5 out of 5 eggsGSkill 4cas... Awesome Ram!

Pros: Easily operates under stock voltage at 4-4-4-12 and 800mhz. Highly overclockable.

Cons: Had to manually change to the stock timings as others have said. Not really much of a con though.

Other Thoughts: I'm currently running it at 1066mhz at 5-5-5-12. It goes higher. I'm new to overclocking and I must say I've learned a great deal simply from reading all the reviews here at Newegg. Many technically informative reviews. THANK YOU from one of the new guys! Keep em comin!
