Pros: Went into my HP 8510p that already had a single 2 GB stick in it without issue. Booted right up, Windows 7 RTM recognized 6 GB RAM, and the laptop is working great.
Cons: A little slow on the latency - but it's a 4 GB stick. A little pricy too.

Other Thoughts: Works just fine in a MBP 3,1 2.2 under the constraints of OS X (i.e 6GB max). Currently running with a 2GB ADATA chip purchased from NewEgg a while back, and no hiccups whatsoever. Computer doesn't seem any faster in day to day activity, other than that I don't see many slow downs when I have memory filled with a VM and other mem hungry stuff. Don't expect "a new computer" out of this upgrade, but every bit of speed and capacity helps.

Pros: Works great with the late 2007 Macbook (the black one). No issues with installation. The system booted up without any issues and it recognized all 4 GB on the stick.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This allows you to get up to 6 GB of ram on the laptop even though Apple sets the limit at 4 GB for the Black Macbook.
