N/A 3/29/2013 5:01:35 AM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 5/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5D525MW Pros: Serendipitously it worked in a D525MW motherboard and hasn't had an issue to date. Cons: It didn't jump out of the package and install itself??? Other Thoughts: I committed the sin of not thoroughly reading the D525MW motherboard spec prior to selecting memory and this SO-DIMM doesn't meet it. Well, it meets all specs except it is double sided 256MB and Intel specified a max density of 256MB single side. For the full 4GB the MB can handle you properly need two 2GB modules. However since I had it in hand I tried it and it worked. The OS (Unbuntu Linux) reports the full memory. I've never had a random crash or instability I have seen with other computers when memory problems are to blame. Though if I had it to do over again I would have bought the correct memory. These laptops are known to be a bit finicky with memory not held to Toshiba's tight specs. This memory will not work in these models. May work with other manufacture's Manufacturer Response: . To determine whether a module may be bad, test the module by itself using memtest86+ to detect any errors. If the memory comes up clean, it may be a compatibility issue with your existing RAM.
