Pros: Good price, fast shipping, works in my computer (even though it is not a specific model listed as "supported")

Cons: Needs to list more models as compatible!

Other Thoughts: This arrived quickly, as always.
Installing was a cinch, beginning to end in 5 minutes flat.

I am using this ram in a macbook (late 2009) unibody.
I do believe that it's only listed as able to be upgraded up to 4gb ram. So for anyone reading this and is searching around a lot like I was before I bought this and wondering if it will work for your mac, it does!

It's a whole new machine! (It should be, going from 2gb to 8gb) ;)
I can flawlessly run Photoshop, Garage Band, and Firefox all at the same time!

Other Thoughts: Bought this about 18 months ago. It recently failed on me with random kernel panics on my macbook pro. Initially I though it was my ssd but tests proved it was the ram. The entire RMA process from sending to receiving the replacement RAM took about 3weeks so make sure you have some backups laying around.

Pros: Easy to install

Cons: I received a bad batch. It froze my machine and created orange lines up and down my screen within a day of installation.

Other Thoughts: Truly disappointed, I read the reviews and just expected they would have less bad batches than what I received.

Pros: Pretty, and supposedly works for everyone else?

Cons: I'm not sure what the issue is considering I've read so many reviews that say this was a quick and easy install. I recently checked and made sure this is exactly what I needed. Purchased it. Received it and attempted to put it in. All I can say is I'm extremely disappointed. The memory sticks did not fit at all, I attempted multiple times to get the memory to go in properly to no avail. I'm not sure why, seeing as many people have had luck with it. I managed to get it somewhat in the right spot (even though it didn't line up with the round locking plastic pieces perfectly) and booted. I was greeted by the "beeps of death" denoting a memory issue. Plugged in the stock memory and everything worked well and was immediately recognized. Very upset overall, was looking forward to all the great results I had read about.

Probably will end up trying to return the item.

Other Thoughts: Overall disappointment. Expected great things from reviews and G.Skill. I had only heard good things about the brand leading into this. Giving two stars because everyone else seems to have had an okay experience with this kit.

Pros: Easy to install, machine runs so much faster with 8GB compared to my 4GB previously.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use Parallels Desktop to run Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro for Autodesk Inventor and Revit 2012. With 4GB or RAM there was quite a bit of lag when Windows was running and it was difficult to use the two programs. With the upgrade to 8GB, no lag whatsoever. I mean NONE! Both programs run extremely well. Great buy for sure!

Other Thoughts: I received the package quickly on the east coast and the install took all of 10 minutes. I used the NewEGG Wizard for determine the needed RAM and it was a simple as 1,2,3. Thanks newEgg.
