Pros: These sticks run stable and error free at the default SPD setting (8-8-8-24 2T, row-cycle=33) on an AMD Phenom II X4 945 (C2 stepping) using a Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 AM3 mobo (AMD 790X chipset, F2 firmware). I'm running two pair (8GB total) and it works great.
The lower voltage (1.35v) means less heat, which means longer life.
Cons: Not really a con (these are great sticks), but be aware you may need to do some manual tweaking of your BIOS if you use AMD. I had to manually set 8-8-8 to reproduce the default SPD. For some reason the Gigabyte mobo defaulted to the next-slower SPD (9-9-9). Also I had to manually drop the DRAM voltage from 1.5v to 1.35v. A future BIOS upgrade should fix these issues.
Other Thoughts: I've heard that CL=7 sticks have divider problems on AMD, requiring a Black Edition CPU to let you fiddle the timings.

runs as advertised with XMP

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Tests stable and error free at advertised timings. Automatically detected XMP settings on a GB P55 motherboard. Have not personally noticed the heat sinks getting warm at all at 1.4V (see below). I would expect the lower power requirement generates less heat than RAM running at 1.65V as a simple question of physics.
Cons: If you want to mess around with speeds and settings, you probably want to start with a CL7 set. They were out of stock at the time of my purchase, but CL8 was fine for my intended use.
Other Thoughts: Not all motherboards will even have a 1.35V setting for RAM, 1.40V was as close as I could get with my BIOS options.
