5 out of 5 eggsExceptional Memory

Pros: This is perhaps the best DDR3 1600 around.
Exceptional timings, low voltage requirements,
very flexible for overclocking.
Currently running at 6-8-6 @ 1372 Mhz - 1.5 volts. Have also ran it 7-7-7 and 6-8-6 @ 1600 Mhz with voltages around 1.6.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My Other System Specs:
EVGA X58 132-BL-E758
Intel Core i7 920 @ 3.3 GHz
EVGA 9800 GTX+ with memory OCed to 2.2 GHz
Antec EA650 PSU
Plextor PX-128M2S 2.5 128 GB SSD

5 out of 5 eggsLove the memory, hate usps.

Pros: Excellent timings, compatible with my Sabertooth X58 after a little adjusting.

Cons: Nothing so far.

Other Thoughts: Liked the product enough to order a second kit but had a nightmare with trying to get the 2nd one to me. Shipped with wrong address and couldn't correct it, watched my tracker helplessly as the item seemed to just melt from existence. USPS people said it most likely was sent back, but there was no way to verify this with the tracking number. So I think I just made a $100 donation to Newegg. Learn from my mistake, don't use usps!!!! Oh, and you're welcome, Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Addition

Pros: Phenomenal, I bought this to replace some aging Geil Black Dragon RAM for my gaming computer to prep for BF3 and future titles.
Let me just say it is of outstanding quality and booted right up.
With XMP enabled it performed flawlessy @ stock CPU speeds 6-8-6-20-1T.
After OC, runs flawlessly at 5-7-5-20-1T @ 1524.2 (1.66v) If your in the Market for RAM this is the RAM to get and most definitely the company to buy from. Will stick with G-Skill from now for every build.
definitely picking up a second for 12GB later when it's needed.

Cons: I'm not to fond of the Blue and Black Heat-spreaders, Would really prefer Red/Black to match my case particularly the ones like the RipJaws series, but that's nitt-picking.

Would have been nice to recieve a case badge with this just for eye candy, once again not a deal breaker but would be nice.

Really want that heat-spreader...

Other Thoughts: Get it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome ram.

Pros: I use a Noctua NH-C12P SE14 cooler, which completely overhangs my memory sockets. After figuring out there was no other way, I finally ripped off the RAM's heat spreaders, ran a 3 hour test (stable), applied the overclock, and ran a 12 hour test: Rock solid. Been there ever since without a single problem.

Runs stable overclocked (5-7-5-20-1T here, minor voltage tweak) - without heat spreaders, only a partial draft from a low-RPM fan. Been that way for 7 months. That's quality, right there.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: Just look down a bit for some great reviews on overall performance and overclocking. This RAM is some of the fastest available in its class, you don't need me to tell you that again.

5 out of 5 eggsUpgraded to 12GB

Pros: I purchased my 2nd set of memory not too long ago and now have a full 12GB of RAM. As I have read about, there is a substanital (and measurable) performance increase with both DDR channels working. Works very well with Asus Sabertooth X58 (latest BIOS.)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: With Sabertooth X58 board be sure to set the memory voltage to AUTO.

5 out of 5 eggsBest DDR3 1600 RAM out there

Pros: Amazing RAM for the price, replaced my old Ocz blade series memory which began causing random BSODs and failed memtest86+ (no surprise there) and this g.skill is running fully stable at advertised timings of 6-8-6-20 1T @ 1603mhz with 1.62 dram bus voltage and 1.40 QPI/DRAM (IMC) voltage on my Asus P6T w/ an i7 920 @ 4.0ghz

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: System performs much faster now with this memory while using lower voltages and faster timings than previously with OCZs poor quality memory which they discontinued altogether ironically.

Overall very pleased with this memory as I've been in the past with G.Skill's products and superb customer service. Highly recommended for those wanting the fastest and most stable cas 6 DDR3 1600 out there for their high end PC's.

5 out of 5 eggsMax clock is not the most important point

Pros: Guys, thanks to the post by Aaron, I decided to take a different approach with this RAM. I lowered the timing ratio on the RAM so it is now running at a clock of about 1127 MHz. I also lowered the timing to 5-7-5-20-1T, instead of 6-8-6-20-2T.

Wow, it made a noticeable difference in how responsive my system is. Everything seems to load and run a bit quicker. Have any of you switched from a HD to a SSD, at least as a boot device? Same kind of difference.

I have come to the conclusion that chasing max clock speed for RAM is a waste of time for most people. Maximum data rate for large bursts is great if you are a video editor, but most of us benefit from better random access times, and that is what the lower timings get you. Low latency is more desirable than max bandwidth.

Yes, it is possible that I could now start to push the clock up a little bit to get even more performance, but why bother? At the moment I am very happy with how responsive my system seems to be now.

Cons: NT

5 out of 5 eggsNo Trouble Ram

Pros: Runs at it's advertised settings 6-8-6-20 @ 1600 Mhz 1.6 V
Does not need additional cooling

Cons: Need to set up in manual mode. Which is expected
Not really a con.
Don't expect to OC past 1650 @ 1.64 V

Other Thoughts: i7 960 @ 3.84 Ghz 24/7
Asus x58 Sabertooth
CM HAF 922 Case
Voltage settings show in the 'red' on this board at 1.6V. However, this can be ignored. Set up as per ram specs and you can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsNot the best, but Good Product

Pros: Works at the advertised timings. Had Dominator 2000 ram prior, but couldn't get it to work at the advertised timings without upping the voltage. Tried 3 sticks which worked a little better, but was not getting the results I was looking for. I like the quality of Corsair products, but in this case I had to resort to these because Corsairs were handicapping my overclock a bit. The i7 950 memory controller was being stressed by the Corsairs. Now I have a 980X and I wonder if I should have kept the other set. In a nutshell, these are cheaply built, but they do work and will overclock a bit without needing a voltage increase. They run happily at 1688 Mhz 6-8-6-20 1T. Sure they have more in them. Haven't tried pushing them more.

Cons: Price is high for the build quality, but again they do work.

Other Thoughts: I7 950(now 980X) comments based on experience with 950 at 4.4 GHz 1.4 Vcore
Rampage III Extreme
12 Gb Gskill 6-8-6-20 1T running at 1688 MHz 1.6 volts
2 GTX 570 SLI
