Pros: worked for 3 years?

Cons: 1 month after warranty is up, SSD goes bad!

Other Thoughts: Buy a differant SSD.

Pros: Did not burst in flames! Convenient rectangular shape!

Cons: Broke for a third time within 3 years. Not detected by BIOS, nor by OS in an external enclosure.

Other Thoughts: How often is this drive going to do its "Phoenix" thing? I mean, how often will it break-RMA-work for a while?

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please send the SSD in for RMA exchange and a replacement should work flawlessly. In BIOS, make sure to enable AHCI for SATA mode. This allows the operating system to detect the storage device as a solid state drive, otherwise if it is detected as a hard disk drive, the drive can degrade and easily become defective over time. Pros: Runs as fast as you need a hdd to run... have it set to boot. lasted 3 years now.

Cons: the case to make it fit into the chassis looks ugly.

Pros: did not burst in flames

Cons: Bought two, now at my second RMA for a dead drive. First failure after a year, then again right about 2 year mark.

This allows the operating system to treat the storage device as an SSD, instead of HDD (IDE). If AHCI mode is not enabled, the SSD can degrade over time and become defective. Other Thoughts: Price/speed is clearly all irrelevant by now. Not surprised others' failed with SSD just starting to take off mainstream.

Pros: Ibought this back in Febuary and it has been great up till now I had BIOS set to AHCI and installed 7pro 64 on it and loved the quickness but it all of a sudden just up and died, stopped responding and now not even their firmware updater will find it so, I'm back to my trusty WD platter drive I just hope GSkill will chime in and give me advise on the situation

Cons: It DIED in less than a year

Pros: I bought two and setup a RAID0 on my new P67 board. I bought them last year, and just open them this week. it's fast when it's recognizable.

Cons: One of the SSD Cannot be detected by BIOS at first. After installing windows 7 ultimate and using it for 3 hours. The BIOS cannot detect it again and the other one is always fine.

Other Thoughts: I saw many similar case on Gskill forum. be careful.
