5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Customer Service

Pros: Good Speeds, great MemTweak it score, small kit with only 4GB but it does its job for an HTPC

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Had to RMA my first set as they would not work in the XMP profile, the new set they shipped out, rather quickly worked without a single hesitation. G.Skilled as secured my return as a customer for the next ram modules I ever need/want

4 out of 5 eggsDisaapointed RMA

Pros: Quick, Dependable. It was great while it lasted. Excellent product

Cons: none while it worked.

Other Thoughts: Had to RMA my set after about 6 months. The RMA process was quite painful. The email correspondence was slow and took a week to hear back from them. While claiming that processing takes 3-4 days after receiving the kit, took them 5 business days for my case. Quite frustrating being out of my desktop which I use for work for 3 weeks now. While I have heard praise for the G.Skill support, I feel as though my experience will point in the direction of another brand next time I am in the market for ram. Good product, sub-par support.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory worked well in your system. This is a high speed, low latency memory kit, so you should be very pleased with the performance. We apologize for the inconvenience of RMA. RMA processing time may take 2-4 days, but you must allow for shipping time as well. Depending on your location, it may take several days for delivery. Rest assured that we do our best return your memory as soon as possible, so please be patient during this time. G.Skill does have the fastest RMA process in the industry. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsGrat RAM

Pros: The RAM is great, runs fast and is plug and play ready. I had bought one set of these last year and upgraded with aa second set and it has helped tremendously. I recommend this to anyone I recommend builds for.

Cons: Haven't really had any problems with it at all. I play RAM heavy games and the 4GB set was doing pretty good and would only become strained under extensive sessions. I bought the second set to just give it a lot of room to breathe.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat DDR3

Pros: Runs like a dream in my Asus P9X79 WS. Currently using XMP settings w/no issues.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I originally bought this 4G (2x2G) DDR3 set for another motherboard, which I since have replaced. When I got my P9X79 WS, I decided to keep my original investment and buy a few more kits to max out the slots. Having 8x2G is extremely nice and I'm hoping that down the road that the LGA2011-oriented 4x4G kits will come down significantly in price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat performing RAM

Pros: This is a great RAM set but I will be replacing it in the near future with the 16 GB ripjaws x series. These did serve their purpose very well in gaming.

7.3WEI score for anyone who cares on an AMD system running at default 1333mHz.

Cons: I could not get my motherboard to set this RAM up for the correct timings/speed. I believe it is my motherboard that is the issue though. New bios flash soon so maybe that may help.

5 out of 5 eggsStable. Fast. Cheap.

Pros: Bought with a P67 MoBo as advertised, these things can't be beat. Setup was painless, haven't messed with them since I put them in though. 7.9 WEI score if you were wondering, was actually very surprised to see that considering a few Newegg reviews I've seen on the "little brother" of this RAM. The 9-9-9-24 ones. Apparently some people are only getting a WEI score of 5.9 with 4 gigs of those, and even a response from a G.skill help guy said you would need 8 gigs of those to get a higher WEI score. The guy was using a Z68 MoBo rather than a P67 MoBo though, I wonder if that could be it.

Cons: Very slight con here, maybe not even that, just a thought. When I first put these in the timings were wrong from the 8-8-8 setup that is advertised. Set at 9-9-9. My MoBo however picked up the RAM type and actually had a saved profile from them with the correct timings, I just selected the profile and it was all set. I wonder though, was it the MoBo that found the correct settings, or the RAM telling the MoBo what to do? If so, then some people might not have as wasy a time getting the timings right in other MoBo's. Regardless,

Other Thoughts: Like I said I haven't touched them since installation. I've been thinking about OCing them, but I'm definitely an amateur when it comes to this matter and have not found much, if any documentation about doing it with this RAM. SO I'll just leave them as is for now, I think I definitely want to get another pack of these for a total of 8 gigs though. That just seems like an amazing value. As for the WEI issue, if you are looking at the ripjaws series of RAM, just pay a bit more, get these and not the regular ones.

My setup:
ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) MoBo
Intel Core i5-2500K @4.4Ghz
This RAM
Radeon HD 5850
Hyper 212+ CPU cooler
Corsair TX650w PSU
Two 500 GB HDD's
Cooler Master Storm Scout case

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory for the amd platform

Pros: Screaming speed even with though this is designed for the Intel P67 platform it works flawlessly on my M5A99x motherboard and I have since picked up a second set for a total of 8GB. Runs at 1600Mhz without any issues at all.

Cons: none.
