5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Stable Memory

Pros: Seems to work fine at XMP rated speeds @ 2133, even when installed on an X58 mobo running in triple channel mode :)

Cons: You MUST be patient in adjusting BIOS parameters when OC beyond default CPU speeds. e.g. 4 MHZ and higher. But then again, for Z68 and P67 mobos, you don't have to jump through all those hoops to get the system to boot and run stable without throwing BSODS.

Other Thoughts: I risked purchasing two packages because Corsair 2000 MHZ would NOT cold boot into triple channel mode without throwing BSODS in Win 7 64 bit Home Premium. Even in default 3.33 CPU mode, I would constantly get "memory management" errors unless I would WARM boot the system FIRST. It would appear that the Gigabyte X58-UD5 BIOS is somehow NOT compatible with Corsair memory, ANY Corsair memory be it 800, 1067, 1333, 1600, or 2000 MHZ. Thankfully, this G.Skill set cold boots perfectly fine and more importantly, runs fast and stable @ 4 MHZ CPU speed with a memory frequency of 2000 MHZ :)

4 out of 5 eggsLow price

Pros: very affordable
I was buying for the price a got a good deal

Cons: slow timings but you get what you pay for

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Luckily due to current market conditions, performance DDR3 is very low priced and a great deal. The memory timings are actually considered low because the frequency is high. Don't forget the new standard is DDR3-1600 CL11, so DDR3-2133 CL9 is still much above standard. On any platform such as the P67 or Z68, this memory kit can produce tremendous results. If you have any questions or issues, please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsNice sticks

Pros: Works as advertised

Cons: i don't like red. goes horrible with my motherboard and my fans.

Other Thoughts: Wouldn't run on my system with xmp profile. I had to run OC tuner in my motherboard (p8z68-v pro), but then i was able to run these things at advertised speeds. I have no idea what oc tuner did which fixed this issue. I have looked at every single ram setting, and everything was the same. Anyways, awesome sticks. I may buy more of these in the future to get 8 gigs instead of just 4. But, ATM I have no need to.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff!

Pros: XMP Profile makes running these sticks at 2133MHz easy as pie. Got a 7.9 on Windows Experience Index!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: They work perfectly in my Biostar TP67XE with an i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid RAM

Pros: This is pretty great RAM, I scored a 7.9 on the Windows index and I haven't even had to manually overclock these puppies yet. Fastest RAM I've seen out there, and works wonderfully with my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe.

Cons: Large, I guess? The heatsinks extend out a little bit and might interfere with aftermarket CPU coolers. Cost too, but isn't too bad if you consider the speed and how there are very few 2133's out there.

Other Thoughts: I have an Antec Spotcool directly facing them and they're stable enough at the factory speed, so I don't really see a need to power them up to 2133. They look great, but unfortunately the package didn't come with a little GSkill sticker like they used to. Needless to say, I'm a little disappointed about this. Just kidding, keep rocking on GSkill!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Works at rated frequency, timings, and voltage on Socket 1155/P67 Asrock P67 Extreme6 motherboard. Also works at highest memory/FSB divider available (withing RAM's rated frequency) on a Socket 1156/P55 motherboard.

Cons: None of the three motherboards in which I installed this RAM (2 X Socket 1155 and 1 X Socket 1156) correctly reported the RAM's default timings. I don't know whether this is a RAM problem or a motherboard problem. I'm giving G.Skill the benefit of the doubt here. There was no problem manually setting the timings.

Other Thoughts: I have two Socket 1155 platforms - ASRock P67 Extreme6, 2600K @ 4.5GHz - running full load 24/7 (Folding@Home) with this RAM. A Socket 1156 unit - ASRock P55 Deluxe, is also running 24/7 full load. The P55 box is running the RAM at 1920MHz, as that was the highest available timing in the BIOS available that was withing the G.Skill's rated specifications. Both P55 Extreme6 motherboards' BIOSes correctly recognized the RAM's default frequency and voltage, but not the timings. I had to enter the timings manually in the BIOS, even after full BIOS resets.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns at rated speeds and voltage

Pros: -Runs at the rated speed and timings at 1.6v no problem. Passed 12 hour memtest+ and Linpack/Prime95 with an overclocked i7 2600k at 4.6Ghz
-Small heatspreaders don't get in the way of large CPU heatsinks.
-Very low price.

Cons: -Pretty high stock voltage but as long as you don't go above 1.65v you should be fine with sandy bridge processors.

5 out of 5 eggsUsing with AMD Phenom II X4 925

Pros: Great. AMD CPU, and this ram still rocks everything.

Couldn't get my PhenomII x4 CPU to accept anything above 1866mhz (Stable). But very very fast ram. Very affordable, lifetime warranty, love you G.Skill.

See other thoughts for system specs

Cons: Phenom II x4 925 (Deneb) IMC is weak.

Other Thoughts: Many people will get more from this ram than I could, but from what I have found, this will easily do the rated speeds @ 2133. However with my CPU combination, I couldn't get that high.

My deneb core wouldn't handle these ultra-fast speeds with a weak IMC no matter what voltage increase I could muster up.

Waiting on bulldozer to come out, and keeping this ram to support it with the next upgrade. =)

1 out of 5 eggsDOA, I have lost faith in this company

Pros: none

Cons: Memtest showed a lot of errors

Other Thoughts: G.SKILL is now one of my blacklisted vendors. It used to be good, now its just plain bad
