Pros: Works with my new ASUS G75VW. It came with 12GIG of ram. one ram slot open under back cover. I just installed one ram chip.
First I ran free software "speccy" to find out what the cast latency was on installed ram, then ordered matching ram from Newegg.

Cons: non

Other Thoughts: All my previously purchased G skill ram chips have worked.

Pros: Seemed to work great for about 5 minutes, notable increase in the performance of my ASUS K55N laptop.

Cons: Laptop crashed after a few minutes of use, and then would not start properly afterward. Even if I reached the BIOS menu, the screen froze within minutes. After removing the stick, my computer worked fine.

Other Thoughts: Bad luck I suppose. I found it frustrating that Newegg would not accept my return because I threw away the small plastic packaging the memory came in -- so be positive that your memory works for more than a few minutes before tossing it out.

Other Thoughts: I forgot to add eggs in my previous review! Oh no!

Pros: Passed testing with no errors.

Works in dual channel with the original Hynix module included in the ASUS K55 model I have. It's even the same color so it doesn't look off if you crack open the laptop to take a look... lol

Other Thoughts: This was a very worthy upgrade to my laptop with only one 4GB DIMM. I don't have to worry about using a lot of my physical memory now and now that it's running in dual channel, I've gotten up to 10-15 FPS better in my games making the playability much better with my laptop for gaming on the go. (CPU is an A8-4500M)

Pros: Used this to up my Acer from 6GB to the 8GB that I sometimes need in photo and video editing, I don't often need 8GB but when I do it is good to know I have it and it won't bog down my system very happy with it. Price factor was good it isn't like the memory in the old days

Cons: none even happy with price

Pros: I never had a bad Gskill stick of RAM until now. I guess this is a posititve for the company

Cons: ThinkPad won't boot either replacing the original RAM or in combination with it. Other sticks tested worked fine.

Other Thoughts: Will RMA and avoid this particular model of RAM in the future.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to upgrade a new laptop for a family member. Laptop is an Asus k55, with Intel Core i5 (Ivy Bridge) running Windows 8, poped the cover off, stuck the stick in, replaced cover, booted up. Instantly recognized and working flawlessly.

For the last few years, I have bought G.Skill memory exclusively. Have not had a single problem with ANY order. Cant beat G.Skill in the price to performance category.

As always, I love you Newegg!

Pros: 4gb ddr3-1600 at a fairly decent price. It worked plug and play with another samsung dimm in my girlfriends laptop.

Cons: None. I use g.skill ram in my main desktop and have come to expect nothing but the best.

Other Thoughts: I would buy again and again if i needed too. G.skill has never let me down.
