In less than a minute after opening the package I had it installed. The machine recognized it no problem. Faster performance due to the increase in RAM from 2 to 6Gb. Cons: NONE ! On adding this, now total 8GB Ram, Graphics Rating went up from 4.9 to 6.6. A8's intergrated Graphics needs more ram to fully function - I read it on some review. Can't say that I can overclock on it, but it allows me to run with super tight timings.. Good trade off.
