5 out of 5 eggsGoodbye Circadian Rhythm

Pros: Shouldn't be "out of RAM" for a WHILE..
I like the idea of the fan system in theory.
Fans are quiet.
Overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Cons: BRIGHTER than every other LED in my tower!! I have a Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced case, and with all the mesh areas and the viewport, the LEDs on the Memory fans lit up half my bedroom.

Other Thoughts: I guess my only complaint so far (only had everything installed a coupleof days now, so haven't stress tested anything, but I'm not expecting any quality issues..) is the brightness of those LEDs with no way to disable them. I leave my system running 24/7 and it's located near my bed, I almost don't need to turn on any lights in the morning because of this new fad of having everything light up. It used to just be the case fans, but now my case fans, memory fans, motherboard, and liquid cooler all have built in LEDs and the only one that has an option to turn it off is the dimmest of the bunch, the cpu cooler.

also, not really important, just seems like a waste.. this kit comes with one box, which contains to smaller boxes, each box is a 16gb kit (2x8gb) which includes it's own fan system, there is only room for one fan, so basically you get a spare to take up space in your parts pile, or put in another system..

Build Specs:
Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
AMD FX8150 with liquid cooling
XFX Radeon HD 7950 DD
G.Skill Ripjaws Z 32gb w/fans

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Fast, amazing, and don't regret buying this one bit. Works awesome with my Asus parts. If you read the notes on this product. This RAM set is specially tailored for some Asus motherboards.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Unless you are using your computer for programs such as engeering, large file music production, or something else. I would recommend going with this same brand, but the 16 GB set and save some money, if you want to have a lot of memory.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Ram Rocks

Pros: If you're running a Gigabyte Z68xp-UD4 read this if you're having problems.
I had trouble setting up the ram to work over 1600 and finally went for some Tech advice from the G.Skill site and got it to work better than I expected from Tradesman. He really knows his stuff. /salute

The settings are "" base timings at 11-11-11-31, tRFC 255, CPU VTT 1.2, tWR to 14 and tRRD 6, tWTR 7, tRTP 7 @ VRAM 1.52""
Now, the tRFC could only go to 255, so I set it there and it's fine.

Those settings got me to 2133 without a hitch and my Win Exp is 7.9 now. This ram is incredible and I don't expect another upgrade for at least 3-years.

Win7 Pro
Gigabyte Board Z68xp-ud4
Intel 1155/I7 2600K CPU overclocked @ 4.3ghz very stable
Two intel 330 SSD 180gb
Two Sapphire HD6950 2gb GDDR5
Thermaltake Water 2.0 cooler
Corsair AX1200 power supply

Cons: No Cons.

Other Thoughts: I wanted a machine that could do it all and the goal has been achieved. Hopefully I won't need another upgrade for 3-5 years, but then who knows what breakthrough is around the corner. Be sure you have Pro before you buy this ram in order to handle 32gb of Ram.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Works at 2133MHz and 1.5volts as advertised. I have not tried higher speeds. Sturdy construction on the modules. Tested for 16 hours overnight on Rampage IV Extreme with Memtest86+ 4.20.

Highly recommend these for socket LGA2011

Cons: Included fans are too far away from the sticks, are too wide and seem really flimsy. I will not be able to use them once I install my Asus Rampage IV Extreme in the case because one fan blocks the first Video Card slot. These may work better for modules that have a taller heatsink but I don't need an inch gap. The fans sit very high up and look funny.

These fans were a waste of money for me. Pretty lights but cheap and not compatible

Other Thoughts: Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Intel i7-3930k @ 4.6GHz
32gb G.Skill Ripjaws at 2133MHz and 1.5volts
Ati 7970
4xVertex 2's (RAID 0)
Seasonic 1k Platinum
ThermalTake Water 2.0 extreme w/240mm Radiator
Corsair 600T case
Asus Xonar Essence STX

4 out of 5 eggsPretty

Pros: Its memory which is as exciting as curling. It worked at the advertised speed and it has a nice red heat sinks that match the red on my motherboard. Other than that its memory.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Intel 2011 architecture does not benefit from absurdly fast memory clocks

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear you like the memory and it is working at the advertised speeds. Any CPU will only fully take advantage of high DRAM frequency if the CPU frequency is overclocked. CPUs are designed for DDR3-1600, so to maximize throughput, CPU frequency and DRAM frequency should both be increased. This is a very high performance memory kit so you will be pleased with the result. If you do not overclock, you can reduce frequency and timings to achieve the best latency/response time. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Low-profile, fit right under the Noctua D-14. I'm using them with the TPower X79 and are stable. I tried to select XMP from the BIOS but the comp wouldn't boot. At some point I might raise the speed manually but I'm not starved for memory speed right now. The important things are: stable, and all the sticks work right out of the box.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsCoolest Ram Around

Pros: I OCed well beyond what it recommends and the coolers keep it stock temps.

Cons: Coolers don't attach well, took some finesse to fit it all in my FULL ATX case. Certain MOBOs would make these impossible. No issues with my ASUS PX79X DELUXE.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: 32 gigs, 2133MHZ, faaast. Extra fan cooling is nice.

Cons: none yet, so long as i get it to read the full 32 gigs

Other Thoughts: I am currently having problems on the Asus Crosshair V formula board, running windows 7 ultimate 64bit, its saying 32 gigs (15.9 usable) its only allowing me to use 50% of the memory and the board does support it. Searched forums and they aren't much help at the moment.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and stable

Pros: Have it overclocked at 2250 and its stable, wish i could have gone farther but did not want to mess with the voltages too much.

Cons: none
