5 out of 5 eggsLook good and work.

Pros: Nice blue color and work fine. My motherboard sees them and uses them to their potential speed. Though in all honesty, I don't do much which requires using 16GB of ram.

Cons: None that I have come across yet.

Other Thoughts: Work well for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy

Pros: The Pros of this RAM to me was the price + numbers + look. The price for what you are getting that is 16gb of ram is good i seen cheaper 16 gb out there on new egg but with out the casing. You always get what you pay for and with this kit i think G.Skill hit the sweet spot. I am giving this product 5 eggs it did every thing it suppose to.

Cons: I am only getting 12 gb of the RAM not sure if i have one not pushed in socket all the way or if one of the sticks are DOA. Ether way ill figure it out my next day off if i goofed it or if its just a DOA of one of the sticks and if it is a DOA its no big deal it happens some times.

Other Thoughts: i think we need to start seeing more grip on the RAMs outter casing so we can remove and insert the RAM into are slots more easily. This is not something i would take a egg off for because most RAM i have ever had i felt the same way about might just be me and my big hands.

5 out of 5 eggsQuick Upgrade

Pros: Easy Installation, Decent Price, Did not have to change any timing or voltage settings from my previous ram. Maxed out my system to 16GB.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I Bought this kit max out my ASUS M4A79T Deluxe AM3 motherboard, and to replace a G.Skil 2 x 2gb (F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ) kit that i bought back in 2010.

5 out of 5 eggsNo compromise, all awesome

Pros: This kit was a steal when I bought it, and with the Intel XMP profile it is very well rounded. Frequencies over 1600mhz are rarely meaningful, the latencies are very low for DDR3, and a lot of people appreciate the lower voltages, plus the blue heat spreaders are a nice touch.

Cons: Not to sound like a spokesman for G.Skill, but I can't think of anything really wrong with this kit. They've gone from an old AMD build to my current X79 board over the last 11 months, and not a single problem along the way.

Other Thoughts: I still had a phenom ii x4 when I bought these and was saving for the 3930k I have now, and it's nice to see them run at the timings they're meant to with XMP. I've got a fairly high-end gaming along side thes ARES sticks (670 SLI, now a GTX Titan), and even though they're only 1600mhz instead of the 2ghz+ that reviewers use, I'm still right up there in performance numbers with the benchmarks they post. Heat spreaders don't usually do any good on RAM, but the blue metal on these is just gorgeous. I'm glad I went with these.

3 out of 5 eggsWas okay

Pros: Works atleast 3 appear to be able to be read by the pc
cheap
small
Free sticker

Cons: one stick is dead
being told only 8gb is usable of 12gb that the pc reads.
Get to talk with G skill to try and replace it

Other Thoughts: bad Sticks happen cant really be that negative but my system never really maxed out on ram as it is so not really neccesary to have this much ram. I just wanted to future proof my computer.

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

We apologize for the inconvenience. You are backed by the G.Skill lifetime warranty, so please send it in for RMA and a replacement should work better. This is a very good performance kit, you should be very satisfied with the results. Since it is above standard, don't forget to input settings in BIOS. Without the proper settings, the memory may not operate to its full potential. Should you have any questions or need assistance configuring, please feel free to contact the G.Skill technical support team directly. They will make sure the memory is working fast and stable in your computer.

Thank you
