5 out of 5 eggsPerforms at advertised speeds, low profile spreaders.

Pros: G.Skill walks the walk. They've my RAM of choice since I ordered my first set from them. These sticks do what they say they will; they will set to the proper speed and timings without any hastle.

The low profile heat spreaders are a must, I really don't see how you can go with massive tall spreaders unless you are water cooling your CPU. If you're on air, go for a set of these.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've bought RAM from other companies before with disappointing results. I have never had a problem with G.Skill and will continue to buy them for my builds and my customers builds.

Just do it.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet RAM!

Pros: Clocks at 2133 without giving me any grief about it...
Low profile fit under my Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme just fine!

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Setup:

Corsair ATX 750
Nvidia MSI GeForce GTX 560ti
G.Skill Ares Series 4x4 GB (2133)

5 out of 5 eggsG.Skill - The only choice for me

Pros: Runs great at 2133 at specified timings. Overclocks nicely also. G.Skill memory has been a choice of memory for years. Purchased the low profile due purchasing a H80 water cooler and a X79 motherboard. Memory must fit under the H80 radiator and fan assembly. Had no issues plenty of clearance.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great memory

5 out of 5 eggsThat'll do, pig, that'll do.

Pros: Works at XMP profile speeds of 9-11-10-28-2N @ 1.65V. I was not able to get it to 1N (1T) keeping everything else stock (I did not try to increase voltage in search of 1N).
The low profile heatsinks are great, fitting under my Thermalright Silver Arrow with just enough room.
I ran this through OCCT, Prime95, memtest86+ and intel burn test along with a mildly OC'd 2700k @ 4.5Ghz and it ran with zero errors.

Cons: None of this is against newegg or this ram, just some random food for thought..
The Sandy Bridge platform unlinks CPU and R
AM speeds, so high end ram like this doesn't really help with overclocks or performance in the first place. The difference from DDR3 @ 1333 vs 2133 is maybe 3% in most real world applications, pretty much imperceptible to humans.

Other Thoughts: The price on these is nice and you can usually get them cheaper during a "15% off all desktop memory" sale. This ram does not disappoint; G.Skill is quickly becoming one of my go-to brands. If money is tight, don't feel bad getting cheaper, slower ram as the performance benefits are minimal.

My setup:

Asrock P67 Extreme 4 Gen 3
I7 2700k @ 4.5GHz
16GB G.Skill Ares 2133
120GB Crucial M4 SSD
120GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD

5 out of 5 eggsNo flamboyant heat spreaders

Pros: Lower latency RAM with regular, non-flamboyant, heat spreaders. Intended for use alongside massive CPU coolers like Zalman's CNPS12X which interferes with taller spreaders on many motherboards.

"Ares" is a G-Skill specific series for "low-profile" RAM. "Regular" modules all have enormous heat spreaders.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: FX-8150
SAS 9265-8i
