Pros: Almost 3 months and absolutely no problems! Memory works, decent for the price (I picked it up as part of a Barebones / DIY kit for $34.99).

Cons: None to speak of

Other Thoughts: Wish I would have picked up another one to run dual channel.

Pros: i bought this to go along with my budget gaming build i wanted to save money so instead of buying a dual channel kit i decided to buy a single stick for 8gb for about 20$less!! its ddr3 its fast and its worth every penny this is my 2nd time buying from gskill and they have not disappointed

Pros: I think it would have worked fine had it been compatible with the board. I ordered too much memory for my computer and the wrong pn#. No fault of Newegg.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this without first doing research, I have 4 slots open on my board with a max memory size allowed of 16gb. I did not realize until after I received my memory that you must take the total amount of memory and divide it by the amount of slots you have for the max memory per slot, therefore (16/4 = 4gb per slot max)...so nonetheless this 8gb DIMM will not work for me. Not NE's fault, my own. Ordered 4x4gb dimms for better luck :). RESEARCH first. :)

Other Thoughts: picked up 4 sticks of this stuff a couple of months ago...plugged it into a gen3-2011 socket systems and not a burp so far!...been over-clocking (just for fun, never run as system over clocked seriously). for a couple of weeks now and still rock solid...this seems to be a 5-star product all around...

Pros: runs great at tight specs...seems like a great deal so far...i don't overclock so i don't need heat dissipation hardware. using x58 sabertooth mobo and came up wthout a hitch and saw every last byte right out of the chute. Been using Gskill for a while and am very happy overall with their prods...

Cons: none that i can think of, unless you call not having a heat spreader a con...

Pros: Does exactly what it says it will. It's memory, it works with my mobo.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these, one bought in early October and one in mid-November, bought to bring my Gigabyte mobo running Xubuntu Linux 12.10 up to 16 GB of memory. Both are working flawlessly and allowing me to run 2 and sometimes 3 virtual machines.

Pros: My MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard recognized it right away . Runs pretty good so far

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: just ordered another one so can have 16GB , on dual channel
