Question 1

I already have 16mb of the Ripjaws X memory of the same type.  Would it be OK to add 16mb of this series of memory to my PC or should I wait for the Ripjaws X memory to come back in stock?

I'm not highly experienced, but the wiz I've encountered says you're smartest to only install ram in vendor-matched groups.

Geeks may know better.

Question 2

Considering buying this memory, but am unsure of its compatibility with a gigabyte GA-F2A75M-HD2 (rev. 3.0) and a a4 - 4000, which i'll later upgrade to a a10 - 7850k. would it run fine?

Best thing to do would be to go to the motherboard's specifications and see what memory it'll accept and up to how much (as in DDR3, PC3 17000, 16GB).

will the 2400 MHz cpu speed work with my cpu i5 4690k?

I cant say Eric.  But when I am in the market for RAM I first go to the motherboard manufactures website for the particular motherboard I am going to be using.  On their site you should be able to find a list of tested, approved and recommended RAM.  Then I check that against the list from the CPU manufacturers (in your case Intel) site for compatibility.  I'd say if you find this particular ram is compatible any you are currently using, say 800 or 1600 Mghz Ram then yes, it will probably speed things up a bit.  Perhaps you should take a look at the memory usage via the resource monitor while running one of your most demanding apps.  If you see low memory usage, like below 40% and your "hard faults" are low or non existent then the memory might not help you that much.  I have found that, generally speaking, if you want to speed up the responsiveness of your PC the best bang for the buck is a Solid State Drive for your primary O/S.  A small 120 GB Kingston or Sandisk is plenty big enough for your O/S and documents and you can store your music, videos etc. on your old HHD.  Either of the 2 SSD's mentioned above will run you less than 50 bucks.  Or if you want a higher end SSD a Samsung of that size will run you 30 to 40 bucks more.  Unless you are severely held back by lack of memory then the SSD will do more fro you than more or faster RAM.  Just my opinion.  Good luck.
