Does this work with lga 1150 CPUs?

Most likely will work. You need to verify the motherboard specifications that you will use with the CPU, there you will find the correct memory combination to use.

Is this 240 pin compatible with the 204 pin?

No. Be sure to check motherboard compatibility when upgrading your RAM!

240-Pin ram only fits into 240-pin slots and 204-pin only in 204 pin slots.

Question 3

I am trying to replace 4 1Gb DDR2 240pin sticks. Can I replace them with DDR3 240pin sticks? I know it might have to do with my motherboard, but I'm not certain what I need to know about the MoBo to determine if I can buy the DDR3 sticks (they're cheaper and better, for one...). Or must I stick with DDR2 240pin.

The text on the sticks read: Corsair CM2x1024-6400    DDR2 XMSZ-6400.   If that helps at all.

While ddr2 and ddr3 sticks are both 240 pins, the notches are in different locations so a ddr3 stick won't fit into a ddr2 slot. There is a small chance your motherboard supports both types, but otherwise you'll either have to buy ddr2 or upgrade your motherboard (and most likely your cup along with it).

Question 4

I have an Advantec AIMB 582 Motherboard into which I want to install these Modules. Will my motherboard recognize these as DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) as I have no overclock facility? I recently purchased some other modules which were supposedly DDR3 1600 but were only recognized as DDR3 1333, on subsequent investigation I discovered that I would have to overclock them to get to 1600.

You should just be able to use an XMP profile to get them to their rated 1600 MHz, as your board does report it can handle 1600 MHz RAM. It varies by motherboard but the setting in the BIOS is usually around the settings for overclocking a CPU.

Can this ram be overclocked at all?

I was able to overclock it. But its nothing to be impressed with. The timing became too loose to have any improvement. And even the clock only went up a couple 100-200mhz.
