okay on 20" imac intel
- Pros: works on 20" imac (late 2006) intel core 2 duo even though this is not explicitly advertised
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: Even though we're not octogenarians, my wife and I have a lot of fun playing bocce ball and we really like the new house we're living in. Also, blue is a good color. I should get back to work on my dissertation.
Worthy Upgrade
- Pros: Very worthy upgrade. Just bought a new MacBook, was a bit disappointed in the stock machine's ability to run Windows in Parallels - almost useless with the amount of lag and slowdown.
But once I upgraded with this new memory? I can keep Windows running at all times and have no issues...truly made a world of difference, especially for someone like me who needs to run many, many programs at the same time.
- Cons: None...
- Other Thoughts: ...although I must admit I really, really think 2GB should have been stock from Apple. The Dual Core was not living up to its potential trying to function with only 1GB.
