I currently have the 2gig Corsair Value Select part # vs2gsds800d2 installed but need the 4gig - is the Corsair Value Select Model CM3X4GSD1066 ok to use?

Since you are replacing a DDR2 SODIMM, you need to use a DDR2 SODIMM.  The CM3X4GSD1066 is DDR3.  If you need to upgrade memory, and upgrading the laptop is not an option or necessary, then I would consider something like VS4GSDS800D2.  Unfortunately, since DDR2 is not mainstream any more, it is quite a bit more expensive for older technology.

Will this work in my HP Pavilion dv6-2150us laptop?

It's hard to determine from what I could find.  The HP product specs call for DDR3 memory but the Corsair website and memory finder tool does not list your system.  I find that with memory it's best to make sure the memory's manufacturer says that the particular RAM works on your system. Memory is one of those core components that you shouldn't take risks with as the instabilities that a mismatched component can introduce can wreak havoc on your machine.

I would recommend that you look at another brand that matches your system.  I looked at Crucial's website.  It lists part number CT5298770 for your system.  Other vendors may also make compatible memory.

Can an Acer Aspire TimelineX 3830TG run this? I wanna upgrade my RAM but is uncertain if this is the right one. I know that the computer supports up to 8GB of RAM, so I want to buy 2 of them. IM just not sure if this is compatible with my computer(size, MegaHertz, etc...).
