5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: I've purchased and installed a great deal of Corsair Vengeance RAM in various builds for myself, friends and family. I've never had a single issue.

32GB is overkill for gaming and most applications, but in the few weeks I've had it (since upgrading from 8gb), I've been thrilled with the performance in After Effects, Maya and Zbrush. It obviously rocks for gaming too.

Great RAM.

Cons: Defaults to 1333, Needed to be manually bumped up to 1866 in the BIOS. No problem.

Other Thoughts: The Red heat-spreaders match the Asus Maximus V Formula very well. It's not Crayola Crayon Red, It's a deeper metallic shade. Different than the images, but very nice nonetheless.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid RAM

Pros: Great RAM, no problems have been encountered.

Cons: I can't seem to get them up to the advertised 1866 just yet, but I think this is a motherboard issue, not a RAM issue.

Other Thoughts: I have never had a problem with Corsair... I once had a bad stick (years ago), RMA'd that bad boy and quickly had my computer back up and running. HIGHLY recommended them.

5 out of 5 eggsstellar.

Pros: Excellent. Zero problems on my FM1 A8 APU or the upgraded FM2 A10 based system.

Running at 1866 with no trouble, handles games and pro audio applications flawlessly.

Looks evil.

Cons: Doesn't glow red...wouldn't that be awesome?

Other Thoughts: Corsair is amazing.

3 out of 5 eggsslow DHL->USPS shipment; memtest errors

Pros: Ran fine & can play Assasin's Creed III but then get I get random "cannot read memory".

Cons: some modules gave errors in memtest & not even overclocked. even gave errors in 1333 using optimized default default. XMP profile gave more errors.

Other Thoughts: I just submitted a case for RMA. Hopefully, everything works out. First time submitting RMA to corsair even though I've owned a lot of their memory. Corsair XMS3 1600 works w/ my MB or system.
Will change review once I get this solved.

I ordered this & got a different timing: 10-11-10-27. Probably not a big deal but the advertised is 10-11-10-30. If I could have known this in advance, I would have ordered the black one (10-11-10-30) which is probably much better based on more 5 eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsdecent ram

Pros: I own 2 pairs of these for a total of 64GB. I have these paired with an Asus Sabertooth x79. These DIMMs coverclock very well

Cons: I do not like the heatsinks and the red color is line a neon red one would find on swedish fish candies. I think that the vengeance series ram is marketed to those who want something flashy rather than elegant

Other Thoughts: I purchased these for a customers build however these really clash with the colors of the Asus sabertooth x79 motherboard and I would recommend ANY corsair dominatior DIMM over these simply because of looks even when the specs are the same. Although you many not believe me when you see the photos above you will when you are designing an epic case

Pros: none

Cons: Ram is not compatible with the Asus Sabertooth R2.0 motherboard. Just doing this review to warn anyone else that's looking at this ram for this motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding RAM

Pros: Outstanding performance and reliability

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: I paid $140.00 more than this RAM set is selling for now and I still feel I have got my money's worth.
