I intend to replace my existing system memory , which runs at 1.5V with this memory which runs at 1.65V. Will a motherboard typically support the extra 0.15V or is there a danger of the motherboard overheating? Also, if the motherboard only recognizes speeds of 1333Mhz, will this memory run at that 1333mhz speed or will the motherboard reject this memory sticks. Thanks.

You will need to check if your motherboard (and/or processor) can run the memory at 1.65v. You should not run 1.65v memory at 1.5v, because you are likely to encounter errors. Essentially, 1.65v memory are sticks that failed the 1.5v tests at the factory, and require additional voltage to make them work.

If the motherboard/CPU only works with 1333Mhz RAM, then it will automatically run this memory at 1333Mhz. The 1600Mhz essentially means that this memory can handle up to 1600Mhz.
