5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Upgrade

Pros: Had to set the timings myself

was set to 11 11 11 27 for some reason in my Bios

but so far its working at what it says it would

Cons: wasn't cheaper ( 172 after tax )

Other Thoughts: was a bit hard to put in but that was my fault since I'm still getting used to the auto-locking side of my sabertooth 990fx R2.0

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well out of the box, simple setup using XMP profile in Bios. No issues at all at advertised timings.

"Customizable" color with "accent clips".

Cons: Only comes with the advertised "accent clips" making the customizable aspect pretty erroneous. You cannot buy the other colored clips separately and it should be noted that painting them (despite the fact that they're removable) voids the warranty (according to a post on corsair's forums.

Other Thoughts: Unsure as to their overclocking potential as they're not being used in that kind of application.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Memory

Pros: Does what it's designed to do.
-Moderately Fast, I don't know that I can tell a difference vs the 1600 memory in my old system, but since everything got upgraded, its hard to tell for sure. Gets a solid 7.9 in the Windows Experience Index. (not that that means anything in itself)

They are red and black, and go well with any sort of red/black color scheme you might have going on.

Cons: Significantly more expensive than when i bought 1600 DDR3 a little while back. I got 24 Gigs for near the price I paid for 16 this time. Sure there's a higher memory density per stick, and I'll be able to top out at 32 Gigs this time, but the prices just keep rising.

Other Thoughts: Noticed some comments mentioned loose heat shields. No problems with that here, make sure to put a finger on each end of the memory PCB and push down from the outside edges when placing the memory in. A firm push should put snap it into place. To much force and you might force the heat shield down or damage the memory module. It should slide snugly into place, if you feel resistance check your positioning in the slot.

Other Thoughts: works great with Z77 and Z87 chipsets that I have used it with.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This RAM is great. It even worked out great for me with unlike sticks. It worked out great for me. I'm running on a micro ATX board and have a large CPU cooler, so since I have littler room to work with in mATX format, the ram slots are much closer to the CPU so the only down side is..............

Cons: The heat spreader is so very large that in a mATX board where the DDR RAM slots are closer to the CPU and you have a CPU cooler that takes up a lot of room, well, if you intend on using this RAM and have a board like ASRock 880GM-LE and have a large double-sided cooling solution with two fans attached to the heatsink, you'll run into problems trying to fit more than one stick in. I managed to get one stick in thank goodness, and it works great. But not so great that I can't use both sticks I ordered, kind of bummed about that.

Other Thoughts: It actually mixes well (so far) with an unlike branded 1 Gigabyte RAM stick with no large heat spreader that would fit the previously mentioned empty slot, and now I'm running 10 gigabytes (I wish I could run 16, but its alright, 10 is more than enough) Overall this is good memory and overclocks well too. Its just somewhat large, so prepare for that and get yourself in the mind set to probably get a board and case that allow for maximum working room (I still like my ASRock 880GM LE even though its somewhat older) and also plan around knowing how much room between the RAM slots and the CPU socket, and know in advance how much room your CPU cooling is going to take up.

5 out of 5 eggsFast, and sexy!

Pros: These memory modules are great, and they are fast. Running them at 1866MHz. Haven't really tried to overclock them yet, because I'm running my 4770k at 4.5, and it will crash with the cpu using 1.285 volts. If I want to overclock past 1866 (2000/2133), I will need more cpu voltage.

Cons: My biggest, and most annoying con has nothing to do with this product. It's the people who buy it. If you complain that the modules run at 1333Mhz, you shouldn't be building/buying these. It's so irritating reading reviews saying that it only runs at 1333mhz. Be smart and check reviews or something before you give a 1 star. You have to enable XMP or manually set them to run at 1866mhz.

Well I guess there "could" be a con for the product; they don't give the option to light up like the dominator platinum, but the red color evens it out. They match with my Asus maximus vi hero MB.

Other Thoughts: Don't be a moron and give a 1 star "because they only run at 1333Mhz"
