This reader will not read any - the only port that works is the USB port. Other Thoughts: As the refund would be $15 and return shipping is $30, this will be coming out of my machine and going into the garbage... Very disappointed. It the biggest waste of money that I have ever had the displeasure of finding out the hard way. Not only is the casing it comes with completely worthless (seeing as how it bloke just trying to put the card reader in it literally), the card reader itself wouldn't even read a simple sd card. I would be demanding my money back if I hadn't broke it in half (by hand mind you). Other Thoughts: You know something is totally worthless when you can snap it in two. Other Thoughts: When i e-mailed with my problem they responded quickly and offered support. Turns out the cable was faulty. They sent me a new cable (really easy to change) and it works great. Cons: The reader, like many, is a 3-1/2" device. It came with a 5-1/4" adapter (which I need), except that it must be for a different product! There is no way to mount the reader to this "adapter." I'll need to find a separate adapter. Other Thoughts: The cost of shipping on a RMA is no doubt as high or higher than the cost of finding another bracket. Somebody needs to wake up where this product is made or packaged. Other Thoughts: Does not work right out of the box, don't buy it. The only part that works is the usb socket, which most likely just passes through the connection cable. I had to give it one egg to submit the review, want to rate it 0 eggs! Cons: This was and is a waste of money. I know you get what you pay for, but this device fails to read memory cards consistantly. the red power light is annoying and no way to turn it off. I bought this knowing some reviews were bad, but figured I would try it. different PC's, different cards, never worked for me in 3 PC's I bought this for my son to use to to transfer video from camera to PC for video editing. tried may different memory cards, same for all brands. the device cannot keep a consistant connection to my PC, green status light keeps winking out and I lose the connection to the memory card every time. have not had ONE instance where the card stays connected, not ONE! Other Thoughts: I did not try any other ports than the memory card slot, so cannot comment on performance of the other slots, but I assume it is the same for all slots. N/A 8/2/2012 7:41:01 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 5/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5No problems here Pros: 3.5 to 5.25 adapter, interior usb connector (have bought others that had a regular exterior usb plug had to cut)supports many different cards, extra front panel usb port. lasted over two years and still going. Cons: Is a little misshaped, but plastic is flexible and will fit in either 3.5 or 5.25 bays. Other Thoughts: The connectors are just small copper wires, when inserting cards be gentle, and do not force it. If it seems like the card will not go in try turning it upside down.
