The 1.8-inch PD200 portable SSD features a built-in flash memory, and uses a new generation of USB 3.0 transmission interface, which brings ultra high speed beyond imagination. Available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacities, the PD200 is only the size of a name card, merely 8.6mm in thickness. The PD200 comes in black and blue, and the frame ring in bold and dazzling yellow is also eye-catching. The leather gives a meticulous touch, with anti-slip, wear-resistant, and anti-fingerprint features. Moreover, a storage holster is included for your unlimited enjoyment.

  • newegg Extra lightweight Measuring only 8.6mm in thickness, the size of a name card, the PD200 is more compact and lightweight compared to smartphones with big screens, making it the thinnest portable SSD on the market. It is the best choice for a mobile digital library, as you can bring it with you anywhere you go.
  • newegg Ultra-High-Speed Transmission Experience The PD200 adopts a new generation of USB 3.0 transmission interface. The read/write speed reaches 250MB/120MB per second. Take the time needed to transfer a 2GB file; for example, the transmission speed is 2.3 times faster than a traditional USB 3.0 external disc, and 11 times faster than a USB 3.0 flash drive.
  • newegg Large Capacity and High CP Index The Team PD200 comes in three capacity options: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Aimed at high-definition videos, music files, and graphic files, they can be accessed more easily and efficiently. Compared to USB 3.0 flash drives of the same class, the prices are more competitive. They are the best choice to replace the bulky USB 3.0 high-speed flash drives and traditional external discs available on the market. To Ultrabook users, it is the smartest choice as far as capacity expansion and affordability are concerned.
  • newegg Fine Grade Leather Texture Team PD200 is black and blue, with a bold and dazzling yellow border design. Additionally, the leather is delicate to the touch, with anti-slip, wear-resistant, anti-fingerprint, and other features. Also, it comes with a sophisticated storage holster, thus making it a high-quality 3C product inside out.
  • newegg LED Indicator When data is being read or written, the LED light lights up. It allows you to easily identify the PD200's operational status. The user-friendly LED indicator design also contributes to more appropriate use of the portable SSD.

2 out of 5 eggsNice small functional drive but....

Pros: Good SSD speeds over a 3.0 connection
Small and flat. Just a bit more and it would fit in my wallet.
Convenient indicator light.

Cons: The cable gets loose after a while and is rather large and bulky compared to the drive.
The drive failed like other review after about 7 months. It get set to read only and will not format or change the read only attributes.

Other Thoughts: It so far seems to have been holding up to a bit of physical abuse, but there are signs of wear on the bottom where it looks like a thin outer layer is pealing off and in spots has scuffed off the black color.

3 out of 5 eggsFailed drive

Pros: When it worked it was nice and fast. Very tiny and worth the $70 I purchases it for.

Cons: Drive failed after a few weeks. I was using it on my Wii U, so I assumed that it wasn't getting enough power. I bought a handful of different cables before realizing it was the ssd that was actually busted. It kept saying "read mode only" in Windows, but if I tried work arounds to disable read only mode it wouldn't work. Currently in the process of getting a replacement. Hopefully the next one works.

3 out of 5 eggsDRIVE FAILED!

Pros: Worked fine, was fast and completed what I needed it for.

Cons: Recently I started losing connection and not getting my PC or any laptops to read the device. Thinking it was the wire, I replaced it with 2 different Micro USB 3.0 and finally released it was the SSD itself that no longer worked.

Other Thoughts: overall I was happy with this purchase but no I am having a hard time trying to find a repair request although the device says it has a 3 year warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and small!

Pros: 1. Size: This drive is tiny, 1.8" makes it ultra portable, I use it with my Microsoft Surface Pro.

2. Speed: This drive is fast! Granted there were other faster options but for the price per GB this was the best buy. With HDD tests, I reached 298mb/s sequential read and 190mb/s sequential write speeds on my Microsoft Surface Pro. It transfers Blu-ray movies in seconds.

3. Reliability: Well it is a SSD but I haven't owned it for long enough to really say how reliable it is.

Cons: None, this drive is exactly what I needed and for the price there is no better choice. Well the only con I could think of was not purchasing the 256GB version.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro, 4GB DDR3 ram, Core i5-470u processor, and 64GB SSD and I needed extra storage. It has a microSD card slot for extra storage but realistically it's an expensive storage solution with a fraction of the speed. 128GB costs more than an external SSD HDD and doesn't come close to the transfer speeds. I needed something small and portable with a decent amount of storage. Team's 128GB drive was perfect. Eith USB 3.0, I reached 298mb/s read times and transferred a 2.2GB file in a matter of seconds. I use it for all my storage needs and I run various applications from it. My Surface Pro only has 64GB storage, less than 30GB free with the factory software installed. I purchased this drive for $69.99 and for price per GB this is the best buy of the century. The drive is faster than the advertised specs, extremely portable and it even comes with a small case. The cable is short, 3-4 inches and works perfect for my ultrabook. It is currently out of stock but when it is available again you shouldn't think twice about purchasing this. There are other options for external SSD drives with higher advertised speeds but if you plan to use it like I do, mainly for my tablet/ultrabook I use for college and for watching movies while flying to and from places, it is your best option. If I had the money I would have purchased 2 or 3 of these.

Pros: Very easy set-up
Great Product
Fantastic price

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: I purchased one of these on 6/1/2014 and it was so easy to use and extremely fast. I have several internal and even brand name external mechanical drives "crash" on me. Switching to an SSD is the best alternative, even though I have CARBONITE back up , this gives me instant access for folders I want to save and take with me when I travel.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall and fast

Pros: Small and fast. I get great transfer speeds over USB 3.0 and have seen it go above advertised speeds.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I picked this up on sale for about $90. Got it for a project that didn't quite work out. Used it at work a few times to do some Clonezilla images and it performed noticeably faster than the mechanical USB 3.0 drive I had. It would make a great Linux Live boot disk for systems that can boot from USB 3.0.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Performs as advertised. My testing showed 256mbs reads and 160mbs writes (60mbps faster than advertised). It isn't the fastest thing out there, but for $70, it makes transferring entire bluray seasons of shows onto my media laptop very quick and easy. It seems to write faster when connected to Windows than Mac, even though my Windows PC was reading from a 7200RPM drive while the Mac was an mSATA SSD.

Attractive enclosure.

Quality cable.

Performs better than advertised and a convenient tool if you dont have a proper NAS or network setup.

Cons: None so far, but who knows how warranty will be with Team. I will post back of the drive fails.
