1 out of 5 eggsWarrantyless memory

Pros: The ram tends to work, we have only had 1 failure in 6 sticks over 3 years.
Good price

Cons: Intentionally refusing warranty requests.

Other Thoughts: We talked to an Iram employee, were told that we had to talk to a specific Iram employee named "Payton". We were also told that we have to fax in the RMA form in.
So we tried to fax it in, but they hung up on our fax machine, we called again, and were manually hung up on. Shouldn't Newegg pull this manufacturer or at least label the ram as warranty-less?

1 out of 5 eggssupport free product

Pros: made of matter

Cons: Have now collected a small pile of bad iRam. The manufacture's support is non-existant. Submitted forms go unanswered. The 800 number takes you on an unending redirect. The voice mail system is full.

Other Thoughts: Yes, I an putting the same review on multiple products. The truth is still true.

1 out of 5 eggsBAD RAM, NO MANUFACTURER RESPONSE

Pros: Cheap, works 99%.

Cons: Faulty heat sensor (online diagnostic) puts the MacPro into limbo when restarting, (goes down, won't come back up) forcing me to hard shut down, which I believe has damaged one of my HDD's (great support from Seagate, AR RMA in before any loss of data)

THIS PRODUCT WILL DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER, DO NOT BUY.

I HAVE EMAILED iRAM TWICE WITH ZERO RESPONSE.

Yes, I checked my spam. Kingston is the same price, I haven't tried it, but I recommend it over this iCrap.

iRam, I hope you're reading this (since you don't read your emails) and maybe then you'll get me a working replacement. (I would like a refund, but I accept that it's too late for that.)

LIFETIME WARRANTY DOES NO GOOD IF THEY CAN'T EVEN WRITE BACK! SCAM!

Other Thoughts: Took me a while to figure out it was the RAM causing this. Had to phrase my google search just right to find the right answer. I think this RAM might also have something to do with my system not Sleeping when it should; I haven't had enough time to test that out. Very possible. OS X does not report any issues. If you have a similar problem, just shut-down, take out the RAM, start-up and it should Restart like normal. Also if the RAM is installed and cold (system only up for a few minutes) then it should work. RAM hot = restart limbo. DON'T BUY.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage RAM.......

Pros: It fits into the slots & looks pretty.

Cons: After 8 months, RAM causes machine to only blink the power light when powered on - it will not boot. iRam does NOT respond to ANY email requests regarding warranty claims. This company does NOT honor their warranty. Avoid this RAM at all costs. All companies that sell this RAM would be well advised to stop carrying it - period.

1 out of 5 eggsNon existent customer support

Pros: none

Cons: After I added this RAM, my Mac Pro started crashing and having kernal panics. I didn't realize it was related to the RAM until after the Newegg warrant expired. I have tried to contact iRam by phone and email, and have never received a response. I will never order from this company again. Their warranty is worthless!

1 out of 5 eggsDied 45 days into use; no response from manufacturer

Pros: Bought two sets of 2x2GB modules a year or more ago, they seem to be doing fine.

Cons: Recently bought two additional sets of memory 2x2GB modules, one set died 45 days into use. Another may be on the fritz. Absolutely no reply from iRam customer support. Based on other feedback here, I guess I'm not really expecting any at this point either.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked for a few years

Cons: After extensive testing I determined my system's instability was caused by these DIMMs. I tried to get a replacement from iRam, they claim to have a lifetime warranty. Yea, good luck with that. After dozens of emails and phone calls I gave up and bought new memory from some else. Don't buy this memory, buy it from someone you trust.

Other Thoughts: The company is not gone, one time I actually got a human on the phone, before I was quickly transferred to a dead end voicemail box. However, they basically have no customer support. Their phone number is a disorganized unprofessional automated system that will never lead you anywhere. They do not respond to emails at all. They exist, but might as well be gone based on their behavior.

1 out of 5 eggsno customer support

Pros: Cheap when it worked

Cons: Memory only lasted 6 months before it died. Contact support on 3 occasion once by phone 2 by email. Havent heard a word from them.

Other Thoughts: I would not purchase a product from them ever again. I have never had poor customer service like this from any other vendor in my 15 years of working on computers.
Newegg you should remove them from your products.

1 out of 5 eggsWon't Last Long

Pros: It worked great for the first 3 months.

Cons: It started causing my computer to not turn on because of Ram issues. It then after it working on and off finally stopped working. When I took out the one of the rams it was hot to the touch. The other was just as hot. I would not recommend since it seems to crash after the return policy in newegg is over.

Pros: Was working fine for about three weeks!

Cons: Died one day. Computer did not turn on. I put my old dimms in and it booted right up. Waited and tried them again and same thing. Computer would not boot.
