5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: Great price, best upgrade you can make, plug 'em in and forget 'em

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Been running 16GB of iRam in my early 2008 Mac Pro, along with the original 2GB, since mid March 2012 without shut down (except for system updates and a couple of power failures). Zero problems and the speed increase was phenomenal. Gonna fully populate my bottom riser with 8GB more.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked x3+ yr But Warranty Worthless

Pros: Worked well out of the box for 3y 9mo in Mac Pro early 2008 dual quad core. Good price.

Cons: After a weekend shut down -- are no longer seen by Mac Pro. Memory card is OK (tested by removing and putting original DIMM back on bottom card. No response to phone calls, web form or email after 6 days. Lifetime warranty is a sham.

Other Thoughts: Maybe 3+ years is all one should expect from third party mystery manufacturer RAM? Maybe worth a few extra dollars to buy Crucial RAM?

4 out of 5 eggsGood Ram

Pros: It works very well.

Cons: More of a caution. If you have the stock ram that came with the Mac Pro, it may not be compatible with this Ram. I had to remove the 2GB that shipped with our Mac Pro before this would work.

Other Thoughts: Be sure to read how to install the ram at Apple's web site.
The placement isn't all the intuitive.

1 out of 5 eggsBad memory! bad company!

Pros: Has cooling fins - nice packaging!

Cons: 1 of the two pieces quit working after just about a year. Though it's a "lifetime" warranty, there is NO contact information to try and get a piece replaced, other than their website's "contact" submission page. Submitted 3 times all particulars but never received a reply to ONE of them. This company clearly goes out of it's way to avoid warranty claims. Not even an address on any site or literature!

Other Thoughts: fly-by-night - waste of money - un-responsive - bad products - worthless

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect so far

Pros: Works perfectly in my '08 Mac Pro (MA970LL/A). Reads as a pair of 4gb DIMMs, as advertised.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I've been beating the snot out of two other pairs of 2gb iRam DIMMs in this machine (an After Effects workstation) for two years now. Day after day, all-night render after all-night render, they perform as expected. I've never had an issue with them.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Dropped in my Mac Pro (late 2008) 2 quad core 2.8...now with 18GB total of iram memory. I was skeptical with previous reviews about the wrong memory capacity, but mine was recognized immediately as 8GB. Thinking about buying 8GB more to replace the original Apple 2GB.

Cons: None, so far.

Other Thoughts: Best and inexpensive memory for Apple. I was going to buy the 2 x 2GB but the price went up...used to be $100.

1 out of 5 eggsWrong Size

Pros: Works

Cons: I ordered the 2x 4GB sticks combo, I received 2x 2GB sticks, in packaging that said it was 2x 4GB sticks. Like the other reviewer here, I tested it in two machines, both compatible Mac Pros, and both showed each stick as only 2GB in size. RMA'd and awaiting replacement...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfect in 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Mac Pro

Pros: I bought two of these and now have 18GB in my Mac Pro. I'm running multiple VMware Virtual Machines with no slow down. Perfect buy if you have a Mac Pro.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Never had a problem with iRam. Highly recommend this company!!!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: At least it hows 4GB instead 8

Cons: even the sticker on my ram shows 8GB, on my 2 different Mac Pro's it shows only 4 GB. The same story with their 4GB ram, switching slots/boards doesn't help.
Paid for 8GB, received $GB with *GB label, not funny.
