5 out of 5 eggsAmazing - Speechless

Pros: Sound is quiet. Noticeable, but quiet.

The responsiveness is amazing,

The size is perfect (for me)

The backlighting works and works amazingly.

I just can't find something wrong with this keyboard.

Even has a USB port on it to help reduce wire management with your mouse (or other item of your choice) and plugging in both of the USB cords connected to the keyboards cord allows use.

Cons: None that I have seen. I have yet to test/mess with the macro buttons attached to it.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend, New or refurbished (got mine refurbished... no issues at all)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Just Fine

Pros: One of the few things I have taken a chance on with being refurbished and I am pleased. Works as advertised.

I even spilled a ton of milk on it then used some alcohol to try and clean it up and after a day or 2 of drying it still worked just fine

Cons: none really, one possible "con" would be that if you dont know already, it has 2 USB plugs to your PC, so if you are strapped for USBs on your tower, get a hub or something.

Other Thoughts: I have had very good luck with Logitech keyboards. I had one of their G14/15 i forget which. It had a fancy LCD screen and it lasted for 8 years. I even took it apart to clean it after a bad soda spill and worked fine for another year until the backlighting started flickering.

2 out of 5 eggsWhat idiot "Refurbished" this thing, Steevie Wonder?

Pros: * Love how the keys feel.
* Nice and loud like a mechanical keyboard should be.
* Adjustable backlight
* A WORKING in-keyboard USB port for once!

Cons: Seriously, I feel bad for picking on Steevie Wonder, but honestly, only a blind idiot would have let this thing past QA. The ENTIRE numpad is sticky as is the N K , Insert Home Page Up Delete End and Page Down keys. The mute button is totally stuck, I can't press it at all, and thanks to that bright white backlight, I can see all the dust, dirt, grime, somebodys spilled root beer/cola/who knows what that made this thing sticky under the keys. If this was limited to the numpad, I wouldn't care, I can live without that. But how many times do I need my N K or , keys? An awful lot. I went through and refurbished the "refurbished" keyboard myself. Spent well over an hour with a bottle of rubbing alcohol, plenty of Q-tips and tried to clean out the switches. It worked for about an hour, but after that, that was it, sticky and repeating the same keystrokes all over again. After cleaning them three times to no avail, "RMA it, I give up.. I have better things to do with my time.."

Other Thoughts: Now I work QA for a living, I understand what it's like to sit around like a bored idiot testing the same exact thing over and over again, but good lord.. I can understand if they missed the letter keys, but seriously? They missed the ENTIRE numpad and passed this thing? Cut me a break..

This thing is out of stock. I'm hoping that this is still out of stock when they finish with my RMA and just give me a refund. I'll do the smart thing and buy a brand new one of this keyboard. $50 more, but at least that one should have gone through better QA than this thing..

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wanted

Pros: My first mech keyboard, and I love it. Feels very high quality.

Cons: Louder than I expected. I love it and don't notice the noise, but my wife HATES it.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard but not fully "refurbished"

Pros: Great feel to the keyboard, it's a great product. The keys are very responsive (the ones that work).

Cons: I got the keyboard and the tab and caps lock keys didn't work. I'm currently RMA'ing to try another one. Unfortunately it wasn't fully refurbished.

Other Thoughts: Next time I'll most likely just shell out a few more dollars and get new instead of refurbished. It doesn't appear they put much work into making their product "like new" again.

2 out of 5 eggsThought better of Logitech

Pros: Love the feel of the keyboard

Cons: First keyboard I received the down arrow and right arrow didn't work.

Sent back in (cost $15 shipping) and got a replacement.

New keyboard came and the ` and 1 keys don't light up. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing. Won't bother to reship for another $15 and will deal with the missing lights... I have over 6 Logitech products and this is the first I've had issues with. Would probably get a new keyboard rather than buy refurbished in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsThis keyboard is pretty great.

Pros: So far I really like this keyboard. How it performs and how the keys press. I really like that it is a lot brighter than the G510s even if it is white I can always save up and get aftermarket key colors for it. Since "mechanical keyboards" are all the rage.

Cons: What I would have liked is if the keys light up all the way. Since Logitech has there own Logitech font printed on their keyboards which needs some getting used to...The symbols on the top number keys are under the numbers and not "lite up" If I practiced in typing class this might not be a bother but since I still peck and seek at the keys while typing this is a small nuisance.
I really wish it had 3 rows of Gkeys like the K95.
I wish it came in more key color flavors.

Other Thoughts: The media keys are freekin' awesome. I got this on the refurbished sale and hoped to get a working keyboard with no LEDs out. I am very pleased all LEDs work so far. I picked up the 2 year accidental replacement I hope to never have to use it but...I have it. One thing I will note however with this refurbished KB is it has a small pin hole about the size of a dull pencil end between the Home and Scroll Lock key the hole went thru the shiny finish and you can see under the the finish, the other was the rubber on the scroll wheel was smudged in one spot "like a burn" my conclusion was a right handed smoker had spilled his ash on the board.
In conclusion a great buy for the price of a refurbished KB and a mechanical. Newegg should send out sample key strips to customers interested in ordering mechanical KB so they can choose the right keys for them because this KB craze is all personal preference.

4 out of 5 eggsLogitech g710+

Pros: Heavy and durable. Nice backlighting that matches well with either blue or red themed cases and peripherals. Wonderful clicky sound to them but it's possible to touch type and make them much quieter (still louder than a membrane keyboard). Feels wonderful to type on. Easy to remove keys without an actual key-puller.

Cons: The spacebar is extra loud. Because it uses a cheap stablizer system using two fake cherry switches instead of the preferred crossbar, the plastic taps on these switches and makes noise without even depressing the switch. This is a manufacturing issue and will be present on every board.

There are backlighting issues with the series but mine is in perfect shape and has none.

Other Thoughts: I minimized the spacebar issue by removing the rubber o-rings from the G-keys and putting them on each of the stablizer pegs. This greatly reduced, but did not eliminate, the added noise over the other keys. There's no getting rid of it. It's also too bad that it is necessary to switch o-rings for the one area Logitech seems to have cheaped out.

Also, a correction to a previous review. This keyboard does *not* require two USB ports. One plug is for the keyboard and the other is for the USB pass-through. If you're not planning on using the extra USB port at the top of the keyboard, it will function perfectly with only one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: Very nice feel to the keys
Feels extremely durable

Cons: Uneven backlighting

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm very impressed with this keyboard. I like the key response, and it isn't much louder than a non-mechanical keyboard. It's working well on my Mac (minus the macro keys) and my PC laptop.

The refurbished keyboard looks brand new with no signs of use and is extremely clean.
