5 out of 5 eggsLG 27MP65HQ Monitor

Pros: AH-IPS panel provides wide viewing angle with high-quality color representation with a sharp and bright image. Large screen with thin bezels. VESA mount. No dead/stuck pixels. Thin and light, very stylish and good looking. I have this monitor on an Ergotron desktop VESA mount so, I can't comment on the stand.

Cons: Touch sensitive power and adjustment buttons are difficult to use, no tactile feedback, just a light touch activates the buttons. No DVI or Displayport and only one HDMI port. Picture calibration settings are off out of the box and need to be adjusted to achieve a good picture. Some IPS light bleed at the corners.

Other Thoughts: Initially, I was concerned that being 1920x1080 at 27" would result in poor pixel density and blurry text, but I was pleasantly surprised with the sharpness of this monitor. The color and picture quality easily blows away my previous 23" TN panel monitor. I am very happy with the picture quality. Text appears very crisp, movies and web videos look fantastic and being 27", webpages are easy to read due to the extra "real estate" .

5 out of 5 eggslg 27 ips

Pros: IPS, beautiful picture, reasonable price on sale. Lightweight, small bezel. I bought two for these for work. They are mounted on my office wall, so I can't attest to the stand's value but it seemed fine. I'm very happy with all of my LG monitors. I own six. All IPS. Great for what I'm working on.

Cons: No hdmi cord included, no dvi or displayport inputs.

Other Thoughts: I needed to expand my 4 monitor system to 6. I had 4 lg's already, all older 27" IPS monitors. Same specs on the color / reaction time. I got those monitors for less than these, but they included dvi / displayport hookups. Those monitors were on sale though and have since gone up dramatically in price so I went with these. Once I got over the tantrum of getting less for more I'm happy. If you can live with hdmi / vga ports, go with this monitor.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Thin bezel
-Great price for a 27" IPS (I paid about $200 on sale + promo code)
-Lovely colors
-Easy Installation
-A huge upgrade from my old LCD monitor in size, energy consumption, heat output, and quality of high definition.

Cons: -Touch buttons are tricky to mess with but once the settings are to your liking you don't have to play with them for hopefully awhile.
-Not enough plastic film to pull off the monitor! Man, that's such a good feeling!

4 out of 5 eggsLove the Monitor

Pros: Great Monitor for the price, Love the color quality, I am running two side by and couldn't be happier! The slim bezel is amazing makes the 27ich feel much bigger, especially when your running dual monitors

Cons: The only con I would bring up is that one of the monitors I ordered did come with bad pixels out of the box, I am working on getting this replaced through newegg but this process is extremely lengthy. Take about a week just to ship the item back to newegg, and about another week to get the replaced item.

3 out of 5 eggsJust Okay

Pros: Good viewing angle. okay colors.

Cons: brightness/contrast is way off. next to my 6 years old hdtv, whites/blacks look too dim. tried various color profiles, monitor settings etc. tried IPS first time, don't know what all the fuss is about.

4 out of 5 eggsBought 3 for Eyefinity and Nvidia surround

Pros: IPS
VESA mount
Very thin bezel
27"

Cons: No DVI
60 refresh (great for casual gamers and productivity)
1080p

Other Thoughts: This fits my current needs. I will be buying this set-up again when higer resolution monitors come down in price. Eyefinity surround is great with the minimal bezels.

4 out of 5 eggs27" IPS monitor with goodies

Pros: -IPS
-Thin bezel
-Vesa mount
-27 inches
-Color calibrated

I bought this because it was probably the only 27 inch monitor with thin bezels, IPS, and a vesa mount. The closest thing in my book is the Asus MX279H (only if that had vesa). This monitor was also color calibrated, carrying a sheet of paper proving that it was.

Cons: -One HDMI, one VGA
-Buttons
-Your usual IPS light bleed

I wish it carried at least a DVI port or another HDMI port. The buttons are pretty difficult to know which on is which but in my perspective, once you set the settings to your liking, you'll probably never touch the buttons again. The power button-touch is also really sensitive as it's just a touch to turn the screen off/on and not a physical button. I leave my monitors on idle and avoid things going close to the buttons. Then, the usual corner IPS light bleeds on black screens.

3 out of 5 eggsBig, but limited.

Pros: Big Screen
Skinny Bevel
Sharp look

Cons: Restricted to 1920x1080
blurry @ max res
Stand is a bit wobbly.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it is a decent monitor, but just a bit too blurry for me for the price and the size. The item that I got also had a bit of color bleed.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing picture Quality, Great Design,

Pros: This monitor is very crisp and clear. I was blown away at the difference in IPS monitor has over a TFT display. I came from a 28" Monitor from 2009 and the upgrade in picture quality astounded me! Not to mention the physical size of the actual bezel and case were a huge difference.. not to mention the weight!

Blacks are black (not gray) colors are crisp and accurate, and there is absolutely no light bleed even in low light situations!

Cons: The on-screen menus are a bit tricky, and it needs some calibration to get everything just as you like it (your eyes may vary.) The only other downside i can mention is that if you bump your desk, your going to get some slight wobble, but that shouldnt be an issue for most people. After all, this monitor is very lightweight, slim and compact!

Other Thoughts: Definitely pick up this monitor if your looking for a solid, clear 1080p @ 16:9 display! You wont be disappointed! The price is a little higher than most right now, but with everything in life.. you get what you pay for! Im really surprised this monitor does not have more reviews!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I replaced 2 monitors of different brands and sizes with these 2 LG monitors. I love them. they are brighter bigger and the fact that they are the same, allows my pictures to look the same no matter which monitor I move it to.

Cons: Non so far.
