What is the screen resolution?

The recommended settings is 1600x900 and it looks great!

Does this monitor require an external power supply? In other words, does it take a special cable with a brick, or is the power cable just a simple C14 cable like what is found on desktop PCs?

Just the power cable--the power supply is internal to the monitor.

Does this monitor come with a DVI cable?

No, it only comes with D-Sub cable.

Does anyone know how much power this monitor uses in terms of watts?

The manufacturer's page says 18W for typical usage, 16W if you opt for "Optimize" mode, or 12W if you opt for "Converse" mode, which I think might be a typo of "Conserve." Stand by mode is 1W or less.
