mmx 4/24/2013 7:30:21 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Better than I expected Pros: When I saw the Infocus IN116 on special, I decided to jump on this deal to replace an aging projector. My previous Infocus was the infamous X1, reprogrammed as a SP model (home theater variant). The lumens on it wasn't very bright to begin with, so comparing this projector with the previous would be unfair. However, I'll go on to say that this projector is excellent for newcomers wanting to project movies, games and computer desktop onto a large screen. I have mine projecting onto an EliteScreens 120 inch (16:9) screen with a gain of 1.1. In my opinion, the quality is just fantastic, especially when playing 1080p video. The colours are bright and vivid, images are sharp and the noise level this unit makes is not that bad. In short, if you want a decent low-cost projector, consider the Infocus IN116. Cons: Initial warming up of the projector has a whirring noise that eventually goes away. The projector seems to warm up my living room after extended use, so consider additional cooling.
