5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE THIS THING!

Pros: This projector looks AWESOME! The short throw makes a big difference when setting up compared to standard throw projectors (put it on the coffee table and you are at the movies). Also looks really great for gaming. Halo was meant to be experienced on a 8 foot screen! :D Very bright as well. I not only run it on eco mode but I have it on eco+ and it is still bright. Slam dunk Optoma (this is my second Optoma projector and I have never had any complaints with either).

Cons: No serious cons to report. Don't expect this to be able to fill your entire wall and not start seeing pixels, it is a 720 projector. For what it is, it is pretty good. Keystone adjusting isn't spectacular (bigger shifts between individual settings) but still works reasonably well.

Other Thoughts: I haven't had any problems with heat. It starts up quick and shuts down even quicker. I have an old camera tripod (the kind with the single screw and pin to hold it) that I use, which makes it really easy to set up anywhere.

4 out of 5 eggsGood projector with few issues

Pros: Very short throw, Bright picture, Supports many aspect ratio.

Cons: Get very hot after an hour of use. Get to 150F
Noise level is around 42db. Not 29Db mentioned in the spec. The lens is projected out side the body, it can break if you are not careful.

Other Thoughts: Still thinking what to do. Contacted Optoma. I may get a new one and see if this is a bad one I got.
