Pros: Multiple Video Connection Types, Good Quality, Touch Buttons, Nice LED Light On Middle-Bottom.

Cons: Response Time When Turning On Is Not The Greatest.

Other Thoughts: I purchased 2 of these monitors because they were at a good price and they do everything i expect from them, very happy with these monitors, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent monitor at an inexpensive price, I really enjoy these monitors, the only thing i have to say thats not great about them is the response time when turning them on but its not a big deal to me but may be to others.

Pros: It works, it is reasonably big, it has an acceptable resolution, the image comes out fairly crisp and sharp.

Cons: The buttons can be hard to find in the dark due to it being touch based instead of button based. (and the power button is not automatically lit when off)

Other Thoughts: The power button is a touch-type button, like on a PS3, and where I put my drinks, is right by it. Just wish it wasn't a heat sensing power button because sometimes I tap the edge of the monitor and it shuts off because I hovered my hand over the power button.

Pros: Big, was on sale, color & contrast are excellent. Has all the connectors I could possibly need. Good aesthetics. Menu system is easy to use. Has those nice buttons that sense your touch without moving parts.

Cons: Washed out color / poor contrast when viewing from an angle - not for watching movies with your friends.

***This is a non-issue for a typical desktop workstation or gaming machine***

Other Thoughts: The monitor's indicator light is somewhat large and white; it shines out of the center of the monitor, just under the DELL logo. I like it but some may find it irritating if you use the monitor in a dark room. You could probably cover it in a way that wouldn't be visible.

Pros: Inexpensive.
Easy to adjust settings with helpful presets.
Good picture quality.
Has headphone jacks.
Easy to assemble stand requiring no screws or tools.
Adjustable tilt.
Good size for a desk.
Touch sensitive buttons on the front rather than the side or back.
Plug and play. (It comes with a disc containing drivers and user guides, But I didn't need to use them.)

Cons: Colors aren't perfect.
The border reflects the edges of the screen.
It doesn't go into sleep mode after turning off my xbox.
Everything will turn yellow if you try to look at it from a sharp angle. (Not really a problem for me, But I listed it for people who might care.)

Other Thoughts: A good monitor if on are on a budget, But if you have money to spare, You should get a better one.

Pros: This monitor is perfect size, widescreen and its 1080p!! with 3 connections!! very light weight, and very sturdy build, doesn't shake. dell did one amazing job on this one

Cons: one ONLY con, not major..the buttons for power off/on and menu buttons is touch sensitive, but they dont light up..makes it difficult at night, but you can just run your finger up over the buttons to turn it on without knowing exactly where the button is, it'll turn on with the slightest touch. but still an AMAZING monitor

Pros: Purchased this on the deal of the day. Great size for my needs. HDMI VGA and DVI ports. Has a nice led light underneath the Dell logo. Gives it a little ambient feeling. Picture resolution is great as well. The preset options gives you the feel of a HDTV.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: ran windows update to update the driver -- otherwise wouldn't do the advertised display (there's a big warning on the packaging saying to run the included cd, but whatever, just run windows update -- it'll be in the optional updates).

Pros: great picture, great viewing angles for this price point, great value.

Cons: None really at this price - can't expect it to be an IPS panel.
When you attach via HDMI you have to go into your video driver console/controls to remove the 1" border around the picture. I can't remember the setting now - it took a bit of searching to find the answer. I think I found it on Dells website reviews for the monitor.

Other Thoughts: Need a good monitor on a budget then this is the one you want.

Pros: This monitor is great ! The colors for me are outstanding, coming from a Samsung 19" LCD I cannot believe how much more vibrant they are. The stand have more adjustment then I would ever need. The monitor itself is fairly thin, not the thinnest by far but does the job. The plethora of connectors make sure whoever buys this monitor will be able to enjoy it regardless of how up to date your graphics card is which is very nice. Now on to the good stuff, Playing BATTLEFIELD 3 on this monitor is absolutely stunning, I could not believe how much easy it was to see vehicles, mines, and big boy baddies compared to my old LCD monitor. I'm extremely happy I made this purchase and would definitely recommend this monitor. One a small note I love the tiny little light under the words "DELL" on the front, when I have all my lights out if gives my keyboard the slightest bit of light I need to see the keys.

Cons: None at all. If I HAD to say something I'd probably agree with the other guy on here and say the menu buttons would look nice if they lit up

Other Thoughts: If you want a $225> monitor that is bigger then 19" WITH HDMI, then look no further, this is a great monitor.
