4 out of 5 eggsNice little projector

Pros: Starting to phase out our old large projectors. Produces excellent images even with some ambient lighting.

Cons: Being small and light make it a bit tough to keep steady sometimes but nothing major.

Other Thoughts: So much better having small projectors .. people who transport them love it because they come in a tiny case.

3 out of 5 eggsA Bit Loud

Pros: It throws a great picture. I usually have this set up in my living room and have the screen at around 3 meters. Even on a bumpy painted wall the picture looks nice. Just for fun I put it on the side of a building out in the country and watched a movie with a 15 meter screen.

It is very reliable. I've run it about 500 hours and everything works just the same as the day I got it.

Cons: It says 32-36 dB but after testing I found it never drops below 45 and is usually around 50dB (even on eco mode). At 50dB it is extremely annoying.

The lens gets hot and warps the picture slightly but you can manually re-adjust the focus to fix it.

Other Thoughts: If I could go back and not buy this, I would. The fan is just too loud for me. I might try and put an aftermarket fan in it just to shut it up.

5 out of 5 eggsAmasing

Pros: Having to do presentations in awkward locations, this little beauty does the trick! Very clear and bright. Not really for big seminars but for a group of 10-20 this works fine. Can use different media, I prefer the Micro SC card as there is less to carry Setup take only a few seconds and the "instant off" lets me re setup for another different show or leave "cool down" time. The whole thing, projector, cords, media, remote, tripod, all fit in the 9x6x3 case that come with the projector. and weighs less than 2 lb. No need for a bulky laptop

Cons: Unfortunately it doesn't come WITH the remote, you need to buy it from dell,( neither of the remotes that work with the projector have a built in laser pointer) nor does the very handy tripod that works much better than just the "screw type foot" built into the projector. There reasonably priced and definitely worth the money.

Other Thoughts: For small and quick presentation this is ideal. Many of my instructors and presenters are older and hate to carry a lot of extra gear. (some are not technically savvy) So this is a blessing for them!

4 out of 5 eggsPowerful

Pros: Knowing it was a micro-projector I was still taken aback by how small it is. Easily fits in the palm of my hand. Even more surprising is just how bright and vivid it is. I was projecting onto a wall 10 feet away and it was clear as a bell.

It also has no cool down time. Once you double-tap the power button it's off and can be put away.

Cons: The colors are a little muted, even if it is really bright.
From farther distances it is difficult to keep the entire image in focus. The edges are either slightly out of focus or the center is, but it's only noticable beyond 8-10 feet with a 70" projection.

Other Thoughts: It's not something you'd take home to watch blu ray movies on or anything, but for a small conference room or a serial roadie presenter it's a must-have.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: SMALL!!!
This little guy is smaller than i thought, i got this projector to replace my old ACER K11, and it is a huge upgrade.
The brightness and picture quality is amazing, its low fan noise is great because i use this in my bed right next to my head.
Projecting a image right 6FT to the wall provides you a huge picture (about 50 inches). Im in the ARMY and i use this little guy in my bunk as a Computer Monitor/TV, and i must say i am impressed at the portability and features that come with this projector.
The instant power off is nice because you dont have to wait for it to cool, since it does not get very hot. You can set a timer to power off if your planing to fall asleep to a movie, The Fact that i can use Speakers or head phones with this is a life savor.
Another Great thing that is Rare is that it will power a portable USB powered hard drive. you can play AVI files for sure, odd thing was that MP4's did not want to play. I have not gotten around to test out what else it will play, but anyway when i was streaming off a thumb stick or hard drive it played flawlessly with a great picture.

Cons: You will have to re focus it a little after you turn it on, not sure why that is but i have my theory it is because it warms up the glass lens, but its no biggy to me.
It does not have a lens cap, so i would use a little cloth to put there when traveling.

Other Thoughts: This is a great projector. Dell really pulled it off with this little guy. I do a lot of traveling and when i get stuck somewhere in transit, i can just set this up with my gaming system and pass the time.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing projector, no ceiling mount

Pros: This is good projector for the price. My main use for this projector has been home entertainment. In my opinion, it is the same projector as Optoma's ML550 with a different OS (same chip, same shape, almost identical interfacing). I have played with both projectors, and I bought the Dell because of its lower price point. The image quality, color, and contrast are all good (I am hoping to see a 1080p version of these small projectors at some point in the near future). Small and portable with a bright display. I am able to play games as most times of the day with the blinds down.

Cons: No Ceiling Mount menu option. Not a huge issue for me as I don't leave it out all the time. You can flip the image if you run your picture from a computer or android device. The lack of a ceiling mount makes the fan more audible since you are closer to the projector. I don't think you would notice the fan if the projector could be ceiling mounted for your standard entertainment consoles.

Other Thoughts: I would add an egg if it had the ceiling mount, where is important to most users. But, overall it is a good projector. I have enjoyed owning the M115HD, and would recommend it if you can live without ceiling mounting you projector.

I wonder if there is a way to activate the ceiling mount in the firmware. The coding is visible in Dell's firmware update, but not in the settings of the projector itself. Someone with a good understanding of small OS programming may be able to activate it though.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing performance/size/price in one

Pros: Great design and highly compatible with different connections HDMI, VGA, USB and even a 3.5mm Stereo Mini-jack. Super light.

Excellent brightness for a Pico and can perform fairly well in a well lit room. It is certainly incredible how this tiny thing compares to my Sony VPL-BW7 and the image quality is really clear, very good text and picture.

Includes a durable and stylish carrying case.

Cons: A built in battery would have been a nice addition.

Speaker may sound too low for some but for a projector that is 4"x4" don't expect Dell to put more effort in sound than video besides there is a 3.5 audio out.

Remote Sold Separately is may be a No-No to some especially for presentations.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost perfect

Pros: Tiny, feature packed, easy to use, surprisingly bright, amazing.

My biggest concern before I bought it was the brightness, but in practical use it's plenty. I was showing it off and was able to project a photo onto a wall 20' away with all the lights on, it was dim, but easily doable. Projecting a 5' tall image in a normally lit room is quite pleasant.

Cons: Doesn't have an option for flipping the display even though it is perfect for mounting on the ceiling. I was able to flip the display via Windows though, so it wasn't a major issue for me.

Other Thoughts: Besides the obvious oversight in the firmware, this thing is amazing, and I think I've sold quite a few more to people that have seen it in use.
