Must-have item for Laptop Users
- Pros: Excellent design, completely comfortable, very precise and ergonomic. Can use it all day long with zero pain. A high quality product.
I am using the corded version of this trackball right now, not the wireless one shown here.
- Cons: Expensive compared to my $10 laptop travel mouse, but then again my mouse was so awfully tiny I got cramps moving the thing around after just 10 minutes...
- Other Thoughts: As a heavy laptop user for 5 years now, my index finger tip was starting to develop "track pad friction sensitivity". I bought one of those fancy laptop mice, but it was awful and unusable.
This trackball on the other hand is perfect. Takes a while to get used to and the ball may appear "stiff" but it will "grow" to your hand after a while. Once you get used to it, it will feel so natural you will avoid using mice altogether.
Working the ball with the thumb is surprisingly good, giving speed, accuracy and lots of movement. Scroll wheel detents are soft but positive. Buttons appear too easy to click, but I have gotten used to this over time - just place your palm down on it first, followed by your thumb & fingers.
Drawing and cursor movements are much improved. You can indeed get single pixel accuracy, enjoy more freedom of movement, and get your work done quicker.
For all laptop users, if you hate trackpads and don't have space for a mouse, get this trackball.

Ergonomic and smooth
- Pros: For traditional mouse users any thumb operated trackball will take about a week to get used to. Once you do you will be able to use it longer with out getting achy. Superior to a traditional mouse. Very accurate and very smooth movement.
- Cons: Battery usage (get rechargeables!). Is not meant to be used standing. Your forearm should be parallel to the surface the trackman is on. Had issues with it double clicking after only one left button click. This problem cropped up after about 7-8 months of use. I adjusted the settings and even installed Logitech's software and got the same problem.
- Other Thoughts: Over all a great product. If you use one for 2 weeks you will likely become a fan!!!

Logitech cordless trackman mouse
- Pros: Very nice mouse. My artist daughter recommended getting this to help me with some photo work and it has proven itself to be a good choice. Better control than a regular mouse. Took a few games of solitaire to get comfortable with it. No more moving a mouse around a pad, no more cleaning mouse guts when they get fuzzy inside.
- Cons: None to speak of yet.
