Rayne 1995 11/25/2012 6:10:40 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 3/5	Rating: 5/5Ultimate Ears of Course Pros: ok so i looked every where and i mean every where on the Internet to hear about how these sound i read ever review i could find and you know what they are amazing. now at first i was a little scared about the sound and seeing that there the baby of the three (4000, 6000, and 9000) but i can say these are great what surprised me at first was the bass cause i didn't expect much from these and when i created a equalizer for em the bass got real deep and warm and it doesn't drown out the other sounds when u add bass to headphones. but with out a equilzer they still sound great very natural sounds and i heard sounds in songs i never heard, very warm mids and supper clean highs these can handle a treble boost very nice not to sure about bass boost for ipod or iphones but DON'T GET ME WRONG like i said with a custom equalizer they boom i mean no lie the bass is really shaking the headphones. now i tested them with hip hop and R&B also with that nu-metal (KORN ^__^) lol. so yea you cant go wrong with these for the money come on 100$ and to me they sound better than the beats solo when i heard those i swear all i was listen to was bass no warms nor highs and i like the beats. lastly noise isolation that surprised me too it really cuts out the sound around as if you closed a door or threw a heavy blanket over your head. ohh and the on board controls work great for apple products otherwise idk my cuz used these with his htc and all he could do was pause and play. Cons: NOW im not gona say there are no cons cause to me <---------- they had a very dark sound compared to my in ear UE 350s and my over the ear Tte sports shock spin but these are my first on ear so idk oh yea BIG BIG CON to me <---------- these babies are a magnet for dust,dirt, and scratches but light scratches not noticeable in a house or something but when the sun touches them you seem all basically if you have the xbox 360 slim glossy its the same with these Other Thoughts: almost forgot very stylish finally i can walk around with looking like i frieza if you know dbz lol also i like to trick people when i detach the cable and they ask me if there wireless and i say yea then tell em no just me also has a nice neon blue cable that does not get tangled very easy and a bag to carry them around very helpful to keep the from getting damaged as far as actual scars.
