3 out of 5 eggsUncomfy

Pros: These headphones do their job, they allow you to listen to whatever you want at whatever volume you want, and not bother anyone else. There is very little to no sound leakage from these things. The sound range was also very good.

Cons: Not very comfy. The ear clips hurt after a while, and I just couldn't find that spot they could sit and be comfy all day.

Other Thoughts: I like to listen to whatever while at work. Thats two 4 hour shifts of constant headphone use. This is my first experience with behind the neck headphones, and I am not a fan. I am going to switch back to over the ear headphones.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great sound quality and they can take quite a beating.

Cons: The thing that goes around the ear gets rather unfomfortable for during long periods of having them on.
Also around the sixth month mark that I had them the shielding right next to the jack came loose, exposing the wires...I covered the exposure with electrical tape...this worked for about seven more months of abuse...

Other Thoughts: These are tough little headphones...I recomend these to anyone looking for quatliy on a budget

5 out of 5 eggsGood Enough to Kill With

Pros: They sound superb, if a little bass heavy. They are one of the clearer headphones I've used, but considering their size, they're quite remarkable. The response curve is quite smooth, with sweeping arcs, meaning that it is fairly easy to correct with the equalizer software on most players or PC's. The most important part is that it has very low distortion, meaning that it can handle equalization.

The construction is surprisingly durable, considering the diminutive appearance. They use a plastic-covered metal band, and the couplings with the earpieces are done with ball-joints.

I haven't had it long enough to experience the cord fraying that others have mentioned, but I used some heat-shrink tubing to reinforce the connector.

Cons: There is some discomfort, such as is to be expected from any over-the-ear phones. However, because of the afore-mentioned ball-joints and the extreme light weight, you can wear them without using the clips, provided that you are not jogging or something.

As has been mentioned before, the cords look very frail. There is a minuscule lead from each earpiece to the headband. This cable is just asking to get caught on something.

Other Thoughts: I use a laptop for gaming, and I wanted something very portable that sounded good too. This fits the bill perfectly. This, along with a $3 microphone, is excellent for whatever I throw at it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat quality, slightly uncomfortable

Pros: Sounds very good. I'm no audiophile, but to my ears they give a very full sound.

Cons: I personally find them somewhat uncomfortable after a while, but I think it's the ear clip design in general that bugs me, not the headphones themselves.

Other Thoughts: I got these after the cord stripped on my previous pair. Before I had the same headphones, but the over-the-head, foldable model instead. I figured I'd get these since less moving parts usually means less breaking.

The only reason I give 4 stars is the comfort issue, I kinda wish I'd stuck with the over the head model. Apart from that, they are excellent headphones, with great quality and compact design.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat headphones - Lousy cord

Pros: Okay I have to say that the sound quality on these is excellent. So good for their kind and price range that I am possibly considering ordering a second pair to replace the first pair that just broke due to what I'll cover in the following Cons.

Cons: I had these headphones for about 7 months and the durability is excellent besides the extremely shoddy cord connection. Mine started to fray on its own in about 3 months and eventually just got worse and worse until it finally only played in one ear.

Other Thoughts: My advice would be to IMMEDIATELY do SOMETHING to strengthen this area as soon as you get these.. only other thought is that they are very loud to those around you. I have to play my music pretty low on the subway or else I'll notice people moving away from me once a seat 10 feet away opens up ;D

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Headphones, bad cord

Pros: Sounded awesome, blows all the ear buds out of the water and had a good cord length.

Cons: I noticed some other people having this problem so it may be a design flaw. The cord started to fray where it meets the connector. Probably due to being in my pocket and rubbing around in there while I was jogging.

Other Thoughts: I really wish they would redesign the connector somehow, if they just changed it to the curved style rather then the sticking straight out style I would have a working pair of headphones right now. I'm probably going to buy another pair anyways and just wrap up the cord with some electrical tape.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat sound quality, but

Pros: The audio quality is quite decent. Bass, mid and high are well-balanced, but...

Cons: The ear clip still uncomfortable for me. Maybe it just me, since I can't be satisfied with any other designs from other brand as well (the ear-clip design).

It fits properly, but after an hour, you can feel pain on your upper ears when you moving the clip...

Other Thoughts: I'm going to return it, and try PX100 instead.

5 out of 5 eggsNice headphones

Pros: Pretty good sound, they stay on your head, good bass. Overall a darn good set of headphones.

Cons: The cable isn't that long, its long enough for any mp3 on your clothing or whatever but if your plugging it into a pc or something you may run into trouble.

Other Thoughts: They look like aluminum rims on the side of my head when i wear them...

5 out of 5 eggsTop notch headphones

Pros: Deep bass, clear sound - none of the mids get lost in the bass or treble - comfortable, lightweight, look good, and so far they seem durable. I'm a DJ and music producer, so consider that high praise.

Cons: Be careful if your player's native OS allows for extreme bass settings, or if you are using Rockbox. The EQ in Rockbox allows for extreme bass levels (at least in the Sansa e280). The bass in a couple of techno tracks made me think the diaphragms might not be able to handle extended use with the lower range cranked way up. And Rockbox allows me to go farther than I already have. Most people probably won't hit this limit, and I won't again.

Other Thoughts: I hate earbuds. These are a perfect replacement for those of you out there like me. And I know you are out there, no matter what the iPod ads would have us think.
