1 out of 5 eggs2 tin cans and some string will sound better

Pros: Not a single bit of praise for these.

Cons: These are without a doubt, the worst sounding earbuds I have ever owned. They are anemic, tinny, sounding. I tried each of the 3 sizes of buds supplied and got better sound from a $10 pair of Skull Candy buds.

They would not "seal" no matter which adapter I used. The bass is non existent, the highs are shrill, and the mids are as tinny as I have ever heard.

Now I did not expect them to match my Shure E5C's, but at least come close. Not even close.

Other Thoughts: I did not buy these from Newegg, and have nothing but praise for Newegg. Newegg ROCKS.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Sound amazing for the price. I have been through at least 6 different earphones and these have sounded the best out of all of them.

Cons: They put to much money in the case and box? Could have saved a few bucks just on that.

5 out of 5 eggsUsing with Zune 32Gb

Pros: Well build, great sound, no extra noise from cables while you walking, comfortable, good base.

Cons: At this price? none.

Other Thoughts: I switched from $40 Sony and Sure to this IE6 and I'm glad I did. My first impression was so great and now I can enjoy my music collection while walking my dog. Please notice that you can use IE6 with or without the flexible ears holders. I found using them more comfortable but it is my opinion only. The treble are not clearest but generally you can hear a great sound balance from IE6. Long story short: you won't be dissapointed.

2 out of 5 eggsAmazing sound but worthless build quality

Pros: Amazing sound. really good frequency response

Cons: the cable started to rip apart in a month. Really did not expect this from sennheiser. this is my fourth pair of sennheiser Ear/Head phone and almost all of them have developed problems in under six months.
Sennheiser Seriously needs to do somethig about their build quality

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent headphones for the serious audiophile

Pros: The sound is absolutely fantastic, with strong mids and treble and an enhanced bass output when compared to the ultimate ears superfi5pros. Takes some burning in (as with all good headphones) and starts sounding better and better with use. The sound is still improving with more use 1 month after purchase.

Pretty good build quality, looks like these headphones can take a fair amount of bashing before crapping out. I have owned the V Moda vibes before that broke in under 3 months. This pair of IE6s are still good showing no signs of fraying or loosening wires after 1 month of everyday use while sleeping also.

The fit is snug and comfortable and silicone buds of different sizes offer a custom fit with proper sealing.

All in all, great pair of headphones if you are willing to shell out 260$.

Cons: Price.

Other Thoughts: These are expensive headphones, and they (probably) do not offer a significant enough advantage over some cheaper headphones that cost under a 100$, but that is for you to decide. I'm thinking along the lines of the Z-buds or the cheaper Sennheiser earbuds.
