5 out of 5 eggsEndlessly Recommended

Pros: I bought these almost two years ago, and they still work as well as the day I opened them. I bought them on a whim when they were on sale ($15!!!), and man oh man was that a good idea. In the past, I'd only used earbuds from discount stores because I figured they were all basically the same, and wow did these Sennheiser 150s prove me wrong. I tried going back to another cheaper pair recently, and practically ripped them out of my ears before proceeding to tear my room apart looking for these babies. If you can get them on sale, I'd 100% recommend them. They've played perfectly an incredible variety of music, on everything from a computer to a phone to an old iPod; held up like champs while running, doing yoga & pilates; and maybe most importantly, are super comfy.

Cons: Kinda boring looking, just black. That's probably a pro for some people, but I'd prefer for things to look good in addition to performing well. With soft music, there's sometimes a background sound.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted not quite 2 years

Pros: Sound great, loved these headphones

Cons: Lost a channel about 18 months after I bought them.

Other Thoughts: Get the warranty. I did not mistreat these headphones but they did not even last 2 years of sitting on my office desk. I see they're about double the price I paid for them now also, so make sure you protect them.

4 out of 5 eggsThe rumors are true

Pros: Excellent sound quality, comfortable

Cons: Not built to last

Other Thoughts: Seeing all of the 'these will fail' reviews, I ignored these warnings and went ahead to purchase the most comfortable earbuds I have ever owned. Then, after about 8 months, the right speaker died. I've come to accept this from most earbuds, but I was disappointed to see these go so quickly.

If they ever make a more durable form of these headphones, I would buy a lifetime supply of these.

5 out of 5 eggsBest $20 I've spent

Pros: Price

Cons: Cord Length

Other Thoughts: Well, I own a pair of HD555's and I definitely prefer the cx150s. I'm pretty blown away at how good these sound for the price. It's a bummer they're discontinued, these are really good pair of headphones.

5 out of 5 eggsCX150

Pros: I've had these headphones for over 3 years and the only damage to them is slight volume difference between ears but that happened on my own fault, even with this slight difference these are the best earphones I've ever own.

Cons: There is nothing bad to say about these earbuds

5 out of 5 eggsDecent for the price, amazing when on sale.

Pros: The first time I bought these was actually at a used record/video store. They were marked for clearance for about $15. I was a little leery of in-ear buds, but I thought the price was decent. I was absolutely blown away by how good these sounded. Granted, I'm not an audiophile. I was used to dealing with $15-$20 Sony earbuds that, while better than stock Apple buds, are not exactly amazing quality. After my first set died, described below, I bought another pair on here for another $15.

The first thing that hit me with the CX150's is how well they block out noise. With nothing playing, they block most local background noise almost as well as earplugs I've used. I wouldn't use these as ear protection at a gun range, but I've used them to block out snoring people on the other side of a cabin. With music playing at a decent level, I am cut off from everything around me.

The audio quality of these buds, especially when combined with the environmental noise reduction, is pretty amazing. These are the first earbuds I've used that actually have a measurable level of bass. It's not overwhelming, but I can feel my ear drums buzzing when playing some blues. The highs and mids are pretty clear as well.

As for their durability, I have to admit that I've abused the current set I'm using and they still sounds just as good as when I bought them more than a year ago. These things have survived multiple trips through the washer, a week in my girlfriend's driveway and a trip through the dryer that mangled the rubber outside of the cord. Seriously, there is about an inch of exposed metal and they still sound great. My first set was doing really well for about a year when the cord caught on something and severed it. I know that these will die eventually, but the next time I see them on sale, I'm going to pick up another set.

Cons: Not a huge con, but I would really suggest that once you figure out the size of the rubber tips your ears take, order some more. I've found that the tips have a tendency to wander. Fortunately, I've almost always found the missing tips in my pockets or the floor of my car. I think I've seen packs of them go for just a few dollars. Again, this is balanced out by the price I paid. If I had paid $50 for these, I would have docked an egg.

5 out of 5 eggsGood headphones

Pros: Much better than headphones that come with brand name phones. Even the Apple branded ones.

It doesn't fall out as much and the bass and mids sound fuller and clearer. Actually using these as in ear monitors. They block out almost all the sound and lets me focus on what I want

Cons: Did not come with a nice case, but I guess you need to spend more for that

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent pair of headphones.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: - Amazing lows (bass, sub-bass)
- Decent mids
- Decent highs

Cons: A tad on the "muddy" side

Other Thoughts: I think I've always been used to my headphones being a tad on the "muddy" side when they've had killer bass. Never have I used IEMs that have this much low-end though. I've since bought several pairs to compare with, and have come back to these as my go-to.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good bass and trebles
Great look
Flexible cable

Cons: Headphones died in about 2 months of normal use in an office setting. I always put them in a case after I got done with my work day. The left ear bud gradually started to get quieter and quieter till it no longer produced any noise. The left speaker followed the same suit not long after.

Other Thoughts: Quite disappointing these died in 2 months. Waste of money and threw them in the trash...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat earbuds

Pros: Lasted over a year (Originally purchased in 11/24/2012
Good sound isolation
At the price I got them for ($19.99), these are a great value.

Cons: You kind of are unable to use them if you lose the ear tip pieces.

Other Thoughts: Depending on your taste of sound, these have pretty good bass, which may or may not be for everyone's taste.

It does have a 90 degree connector on the end, which again, may or may not be for everyone.
