Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless USB Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset

Pros: This was a really quality headset, I've been using it for a few months now and its been working great. Its nice and durable and the detachable mic is convenient. Its battery life is great, giving me about 12 to 16 hours from a 6 or 7 hour charge.

Cons: The SBX Pro Studio Surround Sound isn't as good as I thought it would be. If your looking for that stick to something that Uses Dolby Surround. Its range also decreases a bit after about a month and a half of use, but this is only a few feet when your at max range, so this wont be a problem unless you go to the complete opposite side of your house.

Other Thoughts: Its a bit heavy but that doesn't bother me at all since I've been wearing different types of gaming headsets fora while now. And usually heavier means more durable.

Pros: No sound card needed. Sounds great. Battery last several days @ 2-3 hrs a day. Will definatly reccomend!

Cons: very minor. the ear pads are vinal. could of been made of softer material. ears get warm.

Other Thoughts: No sound card needed. I used a Sound blaster Go and it didn't change the sound. Support sugested I not use it with any soundcard due to possible conflicts. makes me wonder if mabey it might sound better if it worked with a good sound card. say a good 5.1 or 7.1

Pros: great sound clear mic sounds like im having a dream when im gaming or talking in ventrilo or teamspeak with others i can here them now the rain has gone lol

Other Thoughts: i love how its wireless btw this is my first wireless headset and im glad i chose creative labs to get it it can be used either wireless or wired while charging the headset itself

Pros: 7.1 surround sound(which i didn't know about til i started using them), amazing battery life, cool lighting on the sides.

Cons: uncomfortable as jack. the head cushion on the top hurts my head personally which i was surprised to experience after seeing other reviews. my left ear also felt like it was being crushed inward when i first started wearing them but that feeling has subsided a bit after getting used to them.

Other Thoughts: NO SIDETONE AT ALL. I livestream and having no sidetone at all to keep my own voice level in check with inside voices of the house is a major downer. getting used to it is a possibility if you live alone, but if you don't live alone then you might wanna look at a different headset.

Pros: -is wireless
-has detachable mic
-rotating cups are surprisingly handy for putting the headset into a backpack

Cons: -doesn't trap sound in at all
-the padding is not good. It's leathery and not at all cushy, which means it traps in heat and is uncomfortable to wear. I have mine slightly worn-in now, but the top headband still hurts after maybe 20 minutes of use. I expected the same cushy cloth as my similar (but wired) $20 offbrand set and was severely disappointed
-drivers can be a little spotty. The only time this is a significant problem for me is while using Spotify I can only turn the sound up with the on-set control (but not down)
-doesn't produce sound noticeably better than the same cheapo set mentioned earlier

Other Thoughts: do not recommend, solely due to the terrible padding around the cups & on the headband.

Pros: Flexible mic boom, comfortable and easy-going on the ears. Good sound. Great cord that doesn't tangle. Can be used with a sound-card (jacks) or a USB connector (supplied).

Cons: I've had two pairs of these. The first pair lasted nearly a year before the head-band broke near the right speaker. At the time I assumed it was something I did. The second pair lasted about four months before the head-band broke, in the same location, but near the left speaker.

After looking at the design carefully, it's my opinion that this is not an abuse problem. Rather, this is this is a design problem. The natural flexing of the plastic as you take them on-and-off causes fatigue at the root of the headband which leads to the headset breaking.

Pros: *No more cord to sit on or yank on my ears when I reach for something.
*16 glorious hours battery life.
* Sound quality, Bass, loudness clarity. Transforms my music into "an experience"
*long range, I haven't even propped the usb transmitter some place other than directly on the usb port of my computer and I do have usb extensions to do so, but I can easily walk around the house with this headset.
*comfortable, been wearing these for 6 hours so far as I'm writing this.
*Surround sound, been testing these with online 3D sound tests, can hear things going behind above below and around my head. Also been playing with the 3D settings in teamspeak and can position people anywhere.
*Can use while charging.
If these last, they will be the last headset I ever purchase.

Cons: I honestly can't think of any, some people said they've had theirs die on them after the first week, if that happens I will post a follow up.

Other Thoughts: The 3D is right on target. Just got off a 5ish hour Skyrim binge and I can hear things coming from the direction they are in no matter which direction I am facing in the game.

Pros: Love the head phones they were fully charged when I plugged them in for the first time the sound is truly thunderous I love it was able to go CLEAR across my house and into the basement with these head phones with no distortion at all.

Cons: None

Pros: Great headset overall
Very sturdy, Decent battery life, Great wireless range, Great surround sound and bass, and great customization through the software online (The software online is highly recommended for using the headset).
This headset has some of the qualities of the higher priced headset.
Comfortable unless used for excessive amount of time.
The color customization for the cups of the headset is a nice touch to it.

Cons: After a certain amount of hours of gaming, the cups of the headset start hurting your ears.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend downloading the software when using these headsets.

Pros: decent sound, battery life is as advertised, sturdy build, decent range, and long charging threaded cord.

Cons: first off, when i got it the left ear cup would have a high pitch ringing noise. a few minutes of googling and i found out that you have to turn the lights off and update the firmware. not a big deal. second, the pads are way too small and too firm. a few hours of use and i would get a sore spot on the top of my head from the pad sitting on it. third, the speakers are a sort of convex shape and they press up against your ear and after a few minutes it starts to hurt like crazy. after i took them off after a marathon session of gaming i had to rub my ears cuz they were so sore. and by all means, my ears are not big at all.

Other Thoughts: overall bad experience with these. got them on sale for 90 bucks. going to return them and get the corsair vengance 2000 for only 10 bucks more.
