4 out of 5 eggsa good headset for the price

Pros: good voice quality

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This was for office use with Skype. Quality is good for the price. No problem with Asus win7 64-bit notebook.

3 out of 5 eggsGood sound, cheap plastic

Pros: Great sound

Cons: Uncomfortable and very cheap plastic - broke with little effort when I tried to stretch them a bit wider (I have a big head).

Other Thoughts: I find it ironic that the packaging says "Incredibly Comfortable" prominently on the top. They were not comfortable at all for me.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat headset for the price

Pros: -Good range of sound
-Deep bass
-Mic works great, no complaints from my friends on Skype
-Volume control on ear-piece
-Mic boom is flexible, can be adjusted to stay in any position. Easily stowed when not speaking.

Cons: -Cheap USB plugin/cable. Mine ripped when I accidentally tripped over the cable while getting up from my desk. The plugin is also pretty bulky.
-Deep bass will cause a little "squeaky" noise. Not very noticable unless you listen for it, but still something to be aware of
-Ear-pieces get uncomfortable after ~2 hours of consecutive use

Other Thoughts: I'd say you get more than what you pay for. The mic quality is great (Plantronics makes headsets for Air Traffic Control use, so they know what they're doing). I'll probably be upgrading to a new headset shortly however, seeing as this one has broken.

1 out of 5 eggsGread sound, but this is not true Circumaural

Pros: Nice sound.
Volume control on a headset.

Cons: Too small, probably it is circumaural for kids.
Mic is muted only when boom is lifted up (and you, basically not exactly sure about that). Would be nice to have a mute button and some indication.
1 egg because a product doesn't correspond it's title.

Other Thoughts: I purchased those only because of the keyword "Circumaural", however this is not exactly true. Those are bigger than my other headsets but still not covering ears and going over them making a pain after some time.

1 out of 5 eggsWindows 7 x64 - Works temporarily

Pros: For the money, this is a great set of headphones - while they work.

The sound is crisp and clear, and microphone has always been loud enough.

When it worked, it worked well.

Cons: Like others before me have said, the box advertises plug and play compatibility with Windows and Mac OS. If only I had examined Microsoft's website which clearly warns you THIS PRODUCT IS NOT x64 COMPATIBLE. Does anyone still use a 32-bit OS any more?

After four months of working perfectly, every computer I have used it on has suddenly felt the urge to update the driver to a generic composite USB audio device that does not produce sound from the headphones. The microphone works, but nothing from the speakers.

Other Thoughts: I am VERY disappointed in the level of support Plantronics has put behind this device. Every reply I've read from Plantronics has ignored this known issue and they stand behind their "This product should be plug and play compatible" line.

2 out of 5 eggsEhh...

Pros: -Sound
-Comfortable
-Fairly cheap

Cons: Right earphone stopped working after a couple of months.
Everyone I talked to on Skype said I was really quiet, no matter how I changed the mics settings.
Cheap plastic material.

Other Thoughts: I would've rated it higher if it hadn't have broken so soon.

3 out of 5 eggsvoice stuck in my own head

Pros: pretty comfortable, decently sized cord worked for me.

Cons: I cant help but say how terrible these made me feel, Instant headache from the sound of my own voice stuck in my head. The mic reach was pathetic, I couldn't go beyond 10 inches from my microphone without not being heard. they felt mildly heavy and clunky and I didn't care for how they made the mute option work (you slide the Mic up to mute it, seriously why not a button)

Other Thoughts: all in all. not for me, I am a gamer who wears headphones ALL THE TIME, I would sooner go insane from the sound of my voice inside my head then anything else. for some people, these would be perfect. not for me though

2 out of 5 eggsNot for Windows 7 x64

Pros: Was surprised at quality of sound for the price I paid. Reasonably comfortable for a headset this price range too.

Cons: Compatibility reads only as "Macintosh and Windows compatible USB Plug N Play". This is sadly not true. After doing some digging I have found that this headset is NOT compatible with Windows 7 x64. There is nearly constant crackling/static in the line. VERY disappointed something wasn't said on here or on the packaging, or even readily on the manufacturer's website. Will be doing a return most likely.

Other Thoughts: I tried all the different USB ports I have (6 total) and all were the same. I even followed Microsoft's guide for fixing crackle and still found no difference. Again just very surprised and disappointed a 2010 product isn't x64 compatible.

4 out of 5 eggsNice little headset

Pros: Sound quality is nice, mic is conveniently placed, cheap and effective.

Cons: Not the greatest thing in the world, but it works.

Other Thoughts: I'm honestly confused at all of these reviews saying its not compatible with W7 64bit. It was quite literally plug and play for me, I had ZERO issues getting them to work and I use them to this day. Considering buying a set for my little brother since I've enjoyed mine so much.
