Can't Beat It For The Sale Price!
Pros: Descent sound and build quality. Light weight and compact for traveling. More comfort and less heat than larger around-the-ear cans.
Cons: Less than normal base sounds. Short wire length. Dual-thin wires going to cans.
Other Thoughts: Good bargain at sale price of 10 bucks. Not for audiophiles.

Zalman ZM-DS4 White Headphones
Pros: Paid less than 1/3 of retail on a "flash sale". Received them in one piece. Separate tweeter and woofer for 2 way 4 speaker set up. Sound just barely passable. No "slap" from the cables when they bounce off your chest. Very light weight compared to my ancient design, top of the line 4aa's.
Cons: Feel cheaply made and flimsy. I would have never pay full retail ( and I didn't, thankfully) if I had known how flimsy they are. They fold up fairly compactly but you don't get a storage bag to carry them in. If you are an audiophile (like me) it would be best to forego these. If all you want is something to listen to your low-fi MP3 player then these will do the job, barely. Not sure just how well these will stay on your head but they feel pretty slippery on mine; like if I go jogging ( yeah, right, like that's gonna happen) I would have to hold them on with one hand. They are "on ear" rather than circumaural, so they block out very little background noise. They are rated at 50Hz-20KHz so there just isn't a lot of bass and what there is sounds rather muddy. Treble? Not at all crisp and rattle free. Even with spending time trying numerous settings for the EQ on my computer there was no helping the sound quality. They have such a low power rating I didn't want to try them on my sound system for fear of blowing them out.
Other Thoughts: I was very hesitant to buy these with no ratings but somebody has to be first. I hope some of you can learn from my ten buck mistake. Considering all the above, I just can't recommend these, except maybe to my worst enemy. I don't understand why a company like Zalman would put their name on such a poor product when their other computer components are of such great quality. They really need to stick with cooling fans and such. Move along folks, nothing but heartbreak and tragedy here.
