5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: This bad boy looks good, and works very well. It has imporved my gaming experience as a whole. Not only can I play for much longer, the game itself looks much more vibrant. The headaches and double vision have completely gone away, and the sore eye syndrome is gone as well.

There is also a slight prescription to the glasses, not only does it make the screen look clearer, but it also has a slight magnification to it, making it so much easier to see smaller letters and details in game.

Cons: Gets dirty REALLY fast. The glasses themselves are a bit tight around the eyes. if I wear the glasses all the way to the lens, my eye lashes touch them and it gets real oily and dirty real fast. By just simply blinking, my eyelashes leave a long oily streak along the lenses, which is rather annoying.

To solve the problem, I've had to wear the glasses near the middle of my nose, where my eye lashes can do no further damage. But even if my eye lashes don't touch the lens, it still gets dirty somehow. After an hour or so of gaming, I would start to notice oil streaks in the middle of the lenses, even though no part of my body has touched the lenses for hours. It just seems to get dirty, no matter what I do.

Other Thoughts: Great buy, well worth the money.

4 out of 5 eggsWhat a wonder these make

Pros: These glasses are not kidding about the improved picture quality. The contrast of my tv and monitors really pops out. I got these glasses to help with screen glare and the do, but I didn't think my screen quality would be better.

Cons: These glasses are flimsy. You couldn't tell with the online picture, but these things are made with cheep plastic and super thin metal bands. My prescription glasses have sturdyer frames, and their probably 1/8 as think

Other Thoughts: These glasses do wonders for screen quality. I got them not for gaming but for IT work. I plan to uses these babies when I'm wearing my contacts regardless what lcd panels I've got my eyes on. While these guys are clearance, I would recommend going on gunnar's web site and picking up a newer more pricer pair that has a good rating for sturdy frames. Other than that, you might need to adjust your color pallet to cool, so your tv colors adjust to the yellow tent from the glasses. These are a must if you want to avoid eye strange from log night gaming sessions or a log days work in front of the computer!

5 out of 5 eggsYour eyes' new best friend.

Pros: -Reduce eye fatigue
-Fit comfortably
-Increase the amount of time one can comfortably use a computer.
-Nice styling

Cons: -They seem rather fragile.
-They get dirty VERY easily.
-They don't play well with all headsets.

Other Thoughts: I was very skeptical when I first head about these. But, my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to get a pair, when I saw that Newegg was carrying them and for a very good price. I am VERY glad I gave these a shot. Between gaming, audio editing, and just boredom, I tend to sit at the computer for very long periods of time. I instantly noticed that my eyes felt less dried out and strained while wearing these. The headaches that I would sometimes get after long sessions have significantly reduced. I also find that it's much easier to read on screen text. Whether it be searching for files, or reading long passages on a webpage or in a digital book.

I can tell that the lenses are making a difference in the harshness of the light from the screen. As, anytime I take them off, I instantly squint. The tint does take a few days to fully get used to. But, it's not a drastic change. I hardly notice the change when I put them on, anymore.

The frames do seem a bit flimsy. But, if you're not rough with them, there shouldn't be an issue. I've had them for almost a year, and they seem to be holding up quite well.

The one thing that does REALLY bother me about these glasses is that they pick up dust and smudges like a magnet. Even if you just sat down from a shower, if you bump the lens with any part of your skin, there's GOING to be a smudge. So, you'll definitely want to keep a microfiber cloth handy. I clean mine, on average, 2 to 3 times a day.

But, all in all, I'm very glad to have gotten these glasses. I highly recommend them to anyone who looks at a screen (computer, TV, etc.) for extended periods of time. They work equally well for editing, gaming, watching movies, web browsing, reading ebooks, etc.

5 out of 5 eggsThey really work

Pros: I was really surprised how well these actually work. It takes a couple days to get used to them but after that you real;y don't want to take them off. I use them at work in IT and at home during gaming and they really help reduce the strain on my eyes!

Cons: I might would recommend bigger lenses for someone who glances at your keyboard on occasion, its odd looking down and not seeing through the lenses and then looking back up through them. The RPG seems like a good choice - I would buy those I think if I were to purchase again.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the investment.

Pros: Lightweight and stylish. These glasses work as advertised. I had my doubts but they work great. I am in front of a screen for 10 hours a day and my eyes feel great at the end of the day. Anyone who does IT work should own these. They are not just for play.

Cons: Worse thing about these glasses is you have to get use to them. The first few days I had them I wanted to take them off and not use them again.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Glasses

Pros: Well I would like to say that I have really dry eyes naturally as a side effect of Accutane, and while in school and work I would stare at a computer sometimes for 12+ hours a day. These really helped with the extended periods of eye strain. They do help and depending on the style, they don't look that bad. I have a lot of compliments. A must buy for those who play games or work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.

Cons: Really fragile! I knew they were before I bought them from other reviews, but I must take a star away for the price to quality ratio.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW A MUST BUY!

Pros: Very Lightwheight and comfortable.
Color Scheme is amazing.
Case is nice to have around.
Keeps my eyes well hydrated during long sessions of gaming.
Headaches from eyestrain are no longer experienced.

Cons: Have to get used to the AMBER Color
Kinda hard to keep clean.
Slight Glare from my keyboard lights, no big deal.

Other Thoughts: First time wearing these glasses I spent 4 hours playing Left 4 Dead 2 with some friends. At the end of our last campaign they all started ditching me because thier eyes all hurt, after they ditched me I played another 2 vs maps and went to bed with well hydrated eyes and no headaches.

A must buy for any Gamer!
