3 out of 5 eggsNice buds, if only they held together

Pros: Comfortable to wear for long periods (~7hrs). Comes with different size gels to fit almost any ear. Sound quality is good, even at low volume levels. And they create a seal in your ear so you can listen to them without blowing out you ear drums while shutting out your surroundings.

Cons: First pair I purchased met an untimely demise when the cord snagged on something and cut the cable. The second, however, were not so nice. There is a loose connection in the left bud and sound cuts in and out every time you move around.

Other Thoughts: If you can manage to get a set without loose internal connections, then these are very nice for the money. Just not very pleased with quality control. Having said that, I would still purchase them again.

2 out of 5 eggssimply no good

Pros: they're cheap...or at least they used to be!

Cons: - poor sound
- poor fit
- poor design
- strain relief on the cord and earpieces is a joke

Other Thoughts: i've used many a headphone in my life, and have tweaked many an equalizer to get a fairly flat frequency response from them.

these headphones though - you won't get even an approximation of good sound...good luck if you're going to try: pray your player can boost the highs enough. you'll need to slash the mids like a crazed weasel. and the lows? you miiiight just be able to get some if you cram the buds into your ears so hard they feel like they're tickling your brain.

which of course is difficult since the 3 sizes of earpieces they give you seem to be: (1) large, (2) behemoth, and (3) gigantor.

and, if you can find one you can somehow get in your ear, you'll be treated to a clicka-clicka-clicka sound as you walk, due to the 2-layer design of the earpiece sticking to itself....

get something else.

2 out of 5 eggsAlmost

Pros: Fit so well in my ear! Sound was near perfect!

Cons: After about 2 days of very mild use, both buds went out.

Other Thoughts: Total drag, i reallllly liked the feel and sound of em, if you can get em to last more than 2 days, i think you will love em. So, just roll the dice!

snake eyes! suck!

4 out of 5 eggsSound

Pros: looks cool. good quality. good bass. no real distortion.

Cons: The open ends of the buds are a HUGE con if u are outside and there is wind or if you are moving. wind/air distorts the sound ALOT and is annoying.

Other Thoughts: COVER THE HOLES it almosts make this product worthless!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Earbuds for Price!!! Super Comfy!

Pros: great bass, good sound, extremely comfortable, great price (I got them at $12.99 with free shipping), stays in ears, great sound isolations, good cord length - not too long, not too short.

Cons: some static.

Other Thoughts: I bought these in June. They were a fantastic value for 12.99 and free shipping!! It's unfortunate they went up to $19.99, but I would still recommend them for that price. I haven't had any durability issues with them, however, I am just using them at work and I sit at a desk all day (though they do travel in my bag a lot and they're fine).

The first time I put them in my ears and turned on my iPod I was really excited and it put a smile on my face. The sound was such an improvement from my last pair of Sony's (behind the ears/in-ear phones) and the bass was very nice.

I lreally liked my Earbuds, the sound and semi-isolatin, but those broke easy and started getting lots of static ... I always choose these over earbuds now!! And they're just soooo comfy, which is seems hard to find since I seem to have small ears by earbud standards.

Buy them, you won't regret it!

2 out of 5 eggsAnd They Were So Promising...

Pros: Truly great sound for the price. Comfortable, stay in place. Aluminum construction where you'd normally find plastic, they really seemed like a quality product.

Cons: 'Seemed' was the key word. Where the wires met ever piece (plug, separation point, and headphones) there was a gap that I was worried would mean that the wires would be stressed if pulled. Even before I used them I put a tiny bit of glue in each of these gaps to be sure any stress would be put on the plastic casing around the wires. And then I used them the first time--sound was superb for the price, but after jogging for less than an hour the right ear bud became intermittent. It became evident that the wire was damaged internally near the connector. No reasonable explanation, it wasn't under any stress, just poor quality.

Other Thoughts: The sound quality was so good that I think I'm going to try my luck again and exchange these.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth buying

Pros: Comfortable, good looking, nice bass. When I first got these I was very pleased with them, I thought I'd gotten a steal for the price. The sound is good, the buds are comfortable, even over long periods of use.

Cons: Poorly designed, cheaply made, low durability. They wore out literally after about 50 hours of use. The nice aluminum black connector slowly shorted the sound out in the right bud. If you plan on doing anything that involves moving, these are not the buds for you. These would be nice for somebody who's bed ridden and couldn't move very much... since then they wouldn't wear out so fast. But for anybody else, they will wear out quickly.

Other Thoughts: I wish they were more durable, but being that they aren't I can't recommend these to anyone. I guess ya get what you pay for though.

2 out of 5 eggsFine for the short term

Pros: The sound was good, the price was right, and newegg as always was perfect.

Cons: I've had these for two months now, I just used them twice a week while cutting my grass, and already both headphones came unglued from their base.

Other Thoughts: Ok, I guess I can buy some glue myself and they'll still work fine, but...

5 out of 5 eggsworks very well

Pros: not bad at all for the price. package came as advertised and sound quality is pretty good. the base is especially juicy but that is expected from canal headphones. the bass may be a bit overwhelming at times but nothing a little equlizer tweaking cant fix. gold plated plug is a plus

Cons: the plug casing pulled of when i pulled the plug out of the ipod nest but i applied a little super glue and it is perfect, seems as though the glue was a bit old...

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price

Pros: first thing is the price so i wasnt expecting much. but it is evrything i wanted from a cheap pair and it delivers more. it is
durrable. i work in landscaping. i sit on a lawnmower (grasshopper) and run it at full speed and i have my zune on with the earmuffs. and seriously ppl have to tap my sholder to get me. even without earmuffs they block noise pretty well when the music is loud.

Cons: none so far
