5 out of 5 eggsME M6 The All Time King

Pros: Price/Performance, Great bass, clean treble, detailed mids, Great amount of accessories

Cons: Some microphonics(cable noise)

Other Thoughts: The ME M6 has been the go to for low budget, high sound audiophiles for years. It packs a surprising large amount of bass with crisp mids and clean highs. It is one of the best well rounded earphones at the <$50 price range. The ME M6 comes with a variety of tips that range from the normal XS-XL to the single flange to biflange to tri-flange. This is the earphone I recommend to anybody due to it's price/performance capability. If you have any troubles with the M6, make sure you try out the other tips as you're most likely experiencing a bad seal issue.

2 out of 5 eggsOverrated - avoid

Pros: Made of decent materials.
Nice accessories.
Better than average sound.
Over the ear design helps keep them in place.

Cons: Comes with a variety of tips but none that fit.
Over the ear design causes major cord tangle!!!
Badly thought out design of tips causes them to pop out at the slightest pressure.
Sound is not as good as advertised.

Other Thoughts: Forget the review on I purchased these on the recommendation from that particular review. A decision that I've come to regret. I've gone through half a dozen ear buds over the last 2 years, and these are only middle of the pack for sonic quality. Bass is weak, Midrange is ok, but these give me sonic fatigue faster than many of my other IEMs. Sound isolation is not great.

The worst thing about these is the stupid design of the tips. They are only held on by friction. There is no flange to help retain the tips. They will come off at the slightest tug! You will end up losing tips, count on it! Almost as bad is how the over-the-ear design hooks will "hook" onto the wire and create wire tangle like you won't believe.

Final word: Decent sound, terrible ergonomic design flaws.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice his and her earphones

Pros: Good quality, good sound, ljavascript:Biz.Feedback.RateProduct.Form.submit('display')ook good.

Cons: None, they are GREAT.

Other Thoughts: I love this and my wife loves the pink ones. I've been using the headsets that come with my mobiles or MP3 players for too long and I forgot what good sound was like.

These are amazing for the price. GREAT BASS !!!!! And you can tell they are well crafted and solid.

I wish I would have bought 2 more as spare.

I used the default ear pieces but there are 5 more attachments with different sizes.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: These headphones have amazing noise isolation for the price, and with all the tips I think anyone could find them comfortable. No problems with the sound, but nothing spectacular. I paid about $15 a pair, and they are a huge improvement over my previous headphones.

Cons: Nothing bad about these, you get far more than what you pay for at this price.

Other Thoughts: Please make sure you ears are clean if you want to use the smaller tips. If they arent they will be afterwards. I lent them out and when I got them back I didnt even want to put them in the carrying case, it was bad.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: -Comfortable - can wear for long periods without pain
-6 Different ear tips for custom fit
-Plenty of bass when ear tips properly installed into ear canals
-Highs are nice and clear
-Sit well in ears once installed correctly
-Memory Wire helps hold them in place

Cons: -Mids sound a little muddy
-Difficult to get them seated correctly - takes a couple of minutes
-Bass can be very boomy - needed to use EQ to reduce bass and low mids
-Highs can be a bit shrill

Other Thoughts: On sale these are a real bargain that are highly valued as a good budget IEM by the headphone community ( Get a pair and you'll see why. They are not high-end ear-canal phones, but sound pretty good, and won't be the end of the world if you lose them.

Comments from others about no bass etc are clearly because they user has not installed the ear tips into their ear canals correctly. They should fit snug like earplugs, which helps both block outside noise and produce good bass.

I've had a lot of trouble getting a good fit out of the stock ear pieces, even with the 6 different tips. I found the large triple flanges work best, but they can become squished in my ear, blocking sound or making the bass even more boomy. Be careful, take your time, and consider aftermarket tips.

1 out of 5 eggsdoes not work with shuffle

Pros: very comfortable. Stay in the ears regardless of activity.

Cons: I have only tried these head phones with my ipod shuffle. However; Once they're plugged in, they skip every few seconds. The sound quality is horrible compared to the headphones that came with my shuffle

Other Thoughts: worst newegg purchase I have ever made

4 out of 5 eggsGood, took a few days to get used to them.

Pros: -great variety of ear pieces
-the cord around the ear piece is flexible so it fits snug around your ear
-two pack for under $30 is a great deal, good extra pair for exercising or you could give them to your girlfriend or whomever

Cons: frustrating at first trying to find the right fit and make them fit properly, once that was figured out its no problem

2 out of 5 eggsI might be to spoiled

Pros: In ear design, multi-earbud tips, inexpensive

Cons: They have poor sound, bass is almost non existent and I have to turn the volume up alot to here the minute sounds.

Other Thoughts: I also think that I am to spoiled harmonically, I normally use a pair of Shure SCL5 and I was just looking for a pair to replace them for going to the gym or some where I would be afraid of losing my Shures or getting them wet, so I guess I am stuck for now, till I can find a comparable pair to the SCL5.
