5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is huge

Pros: I was looking for a big desktop mouse pad, and wasn't disappointed. It hasn't started to fray, and still looks good after a good soap cleaning. It fits my keyboard, mouse, wallet, and phone, with room to spare. It makes your workstation just look that much better.

Cons: Non

2 out of 5 eggsMouse pad is fraying badly at the edges

Pros: Large surface area
Smooth comfortable surface

Cons: Edges are sharp at first and makes lines on your arms if you rest it on the edge of the mousepad
Fraying at the sides

Other Thoughts: After about 5 months, the edges began to fray and the silky surface of the mouse pad is quickly peeling from the rubber backing. I would not recommend a mousepad that begins to fall apart so quickly. Mouse pads should be able to last easily for multiple years.

5 out of 5 eggsStop reading and buy it

Pros: -Huge
-Great surface
-stays put even on my glass desk
-Coffee will wash out without any negative side-effects!
-edges might fray a bit after long heavy use, but it won't fall apart on you for many years of extremely heavy use

Cons: it has refused requests to have my children and will not automatically clean spilt coffee off of itself

Other Thoughts: So, this is my second Xtrac Ripper XXL mouse-pad, usually on a site like Newegg that means the first was somehow defective. Not the case! I ordered an Xtrac Ripper XXL 4 years ago and loved it, it was great, it outlived 3-4 keyboards and 6 mice. Hell I've still got the first one! But, I've decided that the years have not been kind to it with extremely heavy use- being a smoker, coffee-spiller, etc- so with the fabric finally starting to separate from the padding 4 years later(corners only!), it was time to get a new one. Old one still works fine, still love it- and that's why i had to make sure to buy the same thing again. =) Get this mouse-pad, you won't be disappointed!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse Pad!!!~~~~

Pros: I have owned a few other mouse pads that are for "gaming" and have used a few more. I like that this mouse pad was $15 at the time that I bought it. It's as long or right around the same length that the razer XXL mouse pad is. It's pretty simple it's nice quality and seems like it will last a long while. It works great with every mouse I've used on it.

Cons: The edges are a little rough, just from the way they seal/melt the edge to roughen it up.There's no fancy big logo's etc. but I knew that coming into it.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Mousepad/Deskpad

Pros: There's nothing but great things to say about XTrac Pads. They are very high quality desk/mouse pads and I love having more than enough room to move my mouse around on my desk. I will definitely be buying more.

Cons: No cons.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: Large enough to place my keyboard on and still have more then enough room for gaming.

No need to pick up the mouse to move it back to the middle of the mouse pad.

Cons: The edges are a little sharp. If you aren't wearing a long sleeve shirt it will get irritating. I usually have the edge hanging slightly off the edge of my desk so it rolls over and doesn't cut into my arms

Other Thoughts: Over all, awesome mouse pad! I have a Razer Naga that glides across the pad better than I anticipated.

5 out of 5 eggsXXL indeed...

Pros: This pad has been great so far over the last few days for me. It's a faster pad, which I prefer, but I don't feel like I lose any precision with it. That said, if you're someone who prefers a more precise mousing surface, you may not be as thrilled with this pad as I am.

The Ripper XXL looks great and feels great. Its surface is extremely smooth and my Razer Naga Epic glides over it with what feels like no friction. Being a gamer, I've tested it in many of my regularly played games and everyday uses and am happy to report it hasn't slowed me down one bit. Some of these activities have included 3D Modeling in Autodesk Maya, photo editing in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, and playing games ranging from League of Legends to Roller Coaster Tycoon to Call of Duty.

The pad is currently sitting under both my Naga and my Logitech G710 + keyboard, with my mounted monitors just above the back part of the mousepad. I use a ton of surface area when gaming, and on multiple occasions with my old pad I would bump my case (which sits on the leftmost part of my desk) or my keyboard, which is on the right. In a few days of use, I have yet to do either with the Ripper XXL. I'm really happy with my purchase and would recommend this pad in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a huge surface area.

Cons: There's only one real con I've run across in my use, and that's the edge of the mousepad. It feels really rough, to the point of irritating my forearm if I move across it in the wrong way or too quickly. I'm assuming that this is due to it being so new, and hoping that this will wear down somewhat with more use. It's not a deal breaker by any means, and I'm sure I could come up with some sort of solution for it, but I'm going to let it be for a while and see if it becomes more comfortable.

The only other con that I could think of isn't one for me. As I mentioned before, this pad has a really fast surface. Though this is my personal preference, I can definitely see someone who prefers a more coarse/precise surface not being too fond of it. If that's the case with you, I'd suggest trying it for a few days or so anyway; maybe you'll get used to it, and the sheer size of this pad can't be beat.

Other Thoughts: Extremely happy with my purchase! I'd recommend it to anyone. I've never owned an XTrac product before, but my first one has been a home run so far.

Verdict: 9/10! Very impressed and satisfied!

5 out of 5 eggsAfter almost 5 years

Pros: amazing desktop pad.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: after 4 years the edges are just now starting to come apart for a desk pad it's hard to put any blame on the pad it's under my mouse and keyboard witch i use 5-10 hours Every day. and has been sense i got it 11/13/2010
it has out last any other mouse pad or desk mat i have owned by ten fold. granted it's had a few stains on it but it's fabric it's can and will do that. this is a recommended buy from me..
FYI i do CAD work so i have used and destroyed 6 mice yet the pad shows no ware.
(4 G9x and 2 Razer Naga MMO both with aftermarket UHMW Tape covering feet)

4 out of 5 eggsPretty nice

Pros: It's nice for desks and things that you want to look black.
It also does exactly what you would expect

Cons: It doesn't have the best materials, so after about six months the ends start coming up. It also gets dirty easy. The logo is also pretty ugly.

Other Thoughts: 3.5/5 Stars
