An awesome Drive
- Pros: Well this should sum it up, I have burned well over 10-100 spindles of DVD & CD's combined (my math says 1000+ discs) in the past 6 months I have owned this drive and maybe had 3 or 4 coasters that were due to my err or burning software errors.
and this drive is still kicking! Oh I should mention this is running in Windows XP 64 Bit version...
- Cons: I wish I knew the service life of this drive.. hehe
- Other Thoughts: Its the best lil $30 buck burner I have ever used I am on my 3rd one. 2 others are in machines I have since bought and sold, as far as I know there has been no problem with them other than occasional Mouse Drive problems (ie: user errs)
AS ADVERTISED
- Pros: Snap to install. Recognized immediately. Black. Light Scribe if your into that. PRICE!
- Cons: Hum....nope.
- Other Thoughts: It's just nice to make my discs without having to spit one out and play flip flop. I use printables, rarely the lightscribe, unless making something for the car.

- Pros: This dvd thing if you need IDE dvd.
- Cons: None, unless you want to count those people that complain about vista and then complain about not finding drivers for XP.
- Other Thoughts: Very reliable drive. I bought this IDE dvd cuz I was using raid on my board and I wanted to make sure I had enough sata ports open for it. This works great in play back as well as recording. Light scribe labeling of course takes time, depending on how large the pic is you want it to engrave. Light scribe is well worth not having to label disks the old ways. If you have to have IDE, then this is a great choice, mine came with nero7. I now also own a sata drive and that is better then ide any day. Asus M3A mobo, amd 5600x2, ballistix ram, radeon 3870 gpu. Both IDE and sata dvd. This was the first time I bought a dvd and I'm happy with this purchase. Will use this brand again.
