4 out of 5 eggsOver all, Satisfied

Pros: Small, easy to use

Cons: In bright sun you will have trouble seeing what you are trying to shoot. I bought two for a cruise in FEB. When we got home one of the cameras just quit working; had to RMA. But you should already know that NEWEGG is the best.

Other Thoughts: I see by todays add that this is 10 dollars cheaper then when I purchased. 02/08

1 out of 5 eggssooo bad it hurt even to review

Pros: the pro are all in righting and they are the spesifications like 7.1 mega pixel and stuff

Cons: it is really useless to have a picture that is 3072*2304 when the quality of the image is lower than that of a 640*480 even if you manage to shoot a picture that has no bur, noise, too much or too little light (some time my camera is veryclear on one corner and then very dark on the other when there is good light all around what i am taking a picture of)

Other Thoughts: the color of this camera sucks. they always come out dull and nothing like what you see online. i bought mine after seing lots of other cameras and their samples and i so regret it because the noise and birghtness is something that can never be removed ( i shoot up to 280 in a day and as such i use all of the modes although auto/sport/ nighportrait seems to be the best)

5 out of 5 eggsSmall, handy, great camera

Pros: Very useful point and shoot pocket camera with more features than many people will ever use. I have not experienced any of the battery problems that a few others seem to think they have. Anyone using alkaline batteries in a digital camera needs lot of help. Rechargeable NiMH batteries last several weeks with occasional use and a second pair in a pocket is no big deal.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lots of features
Low price

Cons: Battery life extremely limited
Excessive shutter lag

Other Thoughts: This camera at a glance seems to be a good value but after using it for a couple of months I have begun to regret buying it. This camera eats batteries at a prodigious rate! Put fresh batteries in it and leave it for a day or two without using it and the batteries are likely to be discharged to the point that the camera will not operate. This is very frustrating when you want to grab the camera for a quick shot only to find out the batteries are too low to operate the camera.

Shutter lag makes taking pictures of any moving objects (children playing or pets, for example) a frustrating experience.

If you only take pictures of stationary objects and you always carry a lot of batteries and don't often take quick shots this camera may work for you, but there are probably better choices available.

1 out of 5 eggstruthfully sucks

Pros: it has a very esy to use/learn layout and it has 7.0 mp which means a really high (3072*2304) resolution

Cons: the quality in the picture is bad, i don't know why but the auto fucus doesn't work too well which meas blurry images, the battery life is rediculosley low ( it takes around 20 pictures with duracel copertop batteries) with or without rechargale lbatteries ( 2600 mah is around 200 pictures but reguardless of quality) ( the battery is wasted faster if you zoom in/out more than if you just take the picture)

Other Thoughts: first camera was purchase to replace a 6.0 mp canon and arrived doa, so did the second, after that i demanded a refund and bought it for a lot less (neither site were newegg) but the camaera disapoins me specially because even if you do manage to take good pictures with the highest quality and the bigest xd suported the camera only takes 347 pics MAX....... missing my old one

1 out of 5 eggsget tons of batteries

Pros: Pics are OK

Cons: This camera has a very high threshold for low battery voltage. Put another way, once you have used the batteries for just a little while then turn the camera off, the camera will not turn on again. So you feed it more batteries. The batteries removed from the camera are still good for running most other gadgets. This gets old fast. I sent my camera back to get fixed twice and Olympus did not fix it.

For a little more detail, according to the representative at the repair facility the threshold for the two batteries is 2.2 volts. My experience has been 2.6 volts combined and the camera will not turn on. Since we start with 3 volts this Olympus camera’s day is very short.

So, if you just want to take a few pictures and have a uninterruptable supply of batteries buy this camera, otherwise stay far far away.

1 out of 5 eggsworthless

Pros: it has 7.1 mp an it is a relatively cheap camera for the price

Cons: it only supports up to 2gb xD card which are a whole lot more expensive than sd (i got my for 40 dolars more than a sd card)the quality is extremley low no matter what i do the pictures come out either too grainy or to blurry ( i have taken over 10000 i know because i empy the card once its full and out of that many i have like 230 that are of acceptable quality) I i ma not a photographer also the it takes like 3 seconds for the picture to ba taken i know because i have a nice that always gets out of the picture before i take it she is only three

Other Thoughts: this camera is realy worthless the fact that is automatic means that there is nothing you could do to make the picture better....or worse it mostly means better:(

do not buy go for a canon for the same price and mega pixes and a lot better quality, media suport, and... well you get it this camera realy suck

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: this is very easy to use very easy little kids as young as 3 can use it easy just watch them and odn't let them drop it. I like all the settings especilally the moving one the night one blinds people like almost literally.

Cons: battery life is not great with normal batteries. I use the lithuim ones from energizer they work great make sure to have extra batteries and a big memory card. memory cards are harder to find.keep it out of the water

Other Thoughts: kids love it cuz they can use it very easy but it is also very easy for them to delete pictures so make sure u have them saved ahead of time

2 out of 5 eggsbatteries better be new

Pros: good pictures

Cons: This camera will not start operations using batteries with 1.3 volts. Given that the voltage starts at about 1.5 volts and the camera uses some voltage simply by having the batteries loaded in the camera this means that you may not be able to take pictures shortly after loading fresh batteries. The good news if you leave the camera on and endlessly snap pictures, even using the flash, the camera will still be going strong after 200 pictures. But, if you hope to leave the camera on all day it will time out and turn itself off after 3 minute of inactivity.
