4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small enough for your pocket and the pictures are great for the price.

Cons: Don't get this camera and expect professional quality pictures, but it's great for gatherings and travel.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for a few months

Pros: Small, light & took nice photos.

Cons: Less then 3 months old and one day the lens would not fold back in when turned off. Shipped back to Canon Repair under warranty but they sent a repair invoce for 99.00. Called them and was told there was a prolem with my submitted invoice; asked if I purchased it used. That was strange as I sent in NewEgg Invoice. Bottom line, they do not repair but said they are shipping a new one.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality photos!

Pros: Small. Big LCD.

Cons: I am really disappointed in this camera. I have owned three Canon Powershots, and a 10D before buying this one, so it really surprised me that the picture quality on this camera is terrible. I'd say 90% chance that the photo is going to be washed out, too dark, or grainy. Maybe there is something wrong with this camera, and if so I'll update this review after contacting Canon. But for now, just be aware that the quality just doesn't compare to other Canon models.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Typical Cannon camera...sturdy, reliable, great pictures. This is the 5th Canon that we have purchased. We, the parents, upgrade and give the other ones to our children when they get old enough to have their own camera. We use them for work and for personal use. If you are looking for a camera that is simple to use and takes great pictures this one is hard to beat.

Cons: battery is a different configuration than previously used. This is only a con if you have other Canons and interchanged the batteries.

5 out of 5 eggsCanon A2200 Silver 14.1 MP 2.7" 230k LCD 28mm Wide Angle Digital Camera

Pros: Camera uses a rechargeable lithion ion battery. Charger is included with purchase. Camera has a great selection of operating modes. Taking quality pictures and video is simple.

Cons: Memory, SD card was not included. However, Newegg had a special that included a 4 gig SD card and two lightweight protective cases at no charge.

Other Thoughts: I couldn't be happier with this product. I bought this camera to replace an older Canon digital camera that was lost, misplaced, or stolen. This camera will be a great replacement camera. Thanks Newegg for an outstanding opportunity!

5 out of 5 eggsNice little cam

Pros: Small size, does HD video (and subsequent transfer to your PC) with ease. Doesn't blow you away with features, but has the right stuff for the relatively light use I'll be giving it.

Cons: None yet, other than the mandatory 1.5 hour wait to charge the battery after you unpack it.

Other Thoughts: This replaces a Kodak DC200 1 megapixel digital that I've had for over 10 years, and the difference in technology and picture quality is huge... as it should be after a decade, I suppose. Got it for 99 bucks delivered with a 4GB SD card and two carrying cases during one of last weekend's email deals, and it's exactly what I expected it to be.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic camera technology !

Pros: As an old timer who actually used a KodaK Brownie film camera when I was a kid, this is fantastic technology ! 25 years ago, the professional photographers in my department told me that digital cameras were nothing more than curiosities and could NEVER replace a good film camera ! Now, "film" is essentially gone . . . . .

Cons: I just wish Newegg had some in stock so I could buy one !

Other Thoughts: Having worked in professional television production for 50 years, I am simply "blown away" as the kids say, by the fact that this camera takes video also ! My old TV cameras weighed 200 lbs and were black and white with one tenth the resolution of this miniature marvel . . . . . . .
