5 out of 5 eggsWill not work in a Lenovo TS140

Pros: Intel what else is there to say. Two ports

Cons: Issue is more with the Lenovo TS140 not posting with this NIC installed. Not a issue with the NIC the TS140 is just finicky. Purchasing another NIC on the Lenovo hardware list.

Other Thoughts: Just wanted you guys/gals to know of the incompatibility

Pros: It works very well.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It's an Intel nic.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Brainer

Pros: Perfect. Plug it in, it works. I added 4 of these to one machine and there were no conflicts or issues. 8 new Ethernet ports. Voila! :-)

Cons: Ummm, can't think of any.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat little box

Pros: Almost everything you need to get this little guy up and running. No OS but that's ok, I like choices. Compact but smart.

Cons: One ethernet port, one small non NAS HD.
All not that bad.

Other Thoughts: My first server. Got this guy running my home network. File sharing and a web page, just don't tell my ISP.
Microsoft server 2008 r2
Added a HP low pro NIC( needed Two)
The rest is stock.

5 out of 5 eggsIntel works as expected

Pros: Windows Server 2003 x64 finds the drivers right from windows update.
Card performs flawlessly for creating links between servers.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I used this NIC to link two Windows Server 2003 x64 servers together. This is primarily for clustering....just works as usual with no problems.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid always-on performer

Pros: Plugged into an Atom mobo running Untangle, always on for over two years now. Simple, solid, and faultless in this application.

Cons: Not one in this application.

5 out of 5 eggsBlow your onboard lan away!

Pros: Fast, can saturate almost 99 percent of a 2gig connection with teaming and a terribly cheap switch. Drivers are above and beyond excellent. Good explanations made it easy to understand features that i have never had available to me before. Useful self diagnostic capabilities. My first Intel LAN card and certainly not my last.

Cons: Expensive.

Other Thoughts: I used this card in my home server. It runs ip camera recording software 24x7 and hosts a separate shared 16tb of storage for the computers in my home. The onboard lan card is bridged to two InfiniTV tuner cards. i have been running this setup for over a year with flawless operation.
